The handrail was easy to install with proper drill and wrench. The wrench provided is useless as the half inch head and long screws require proper torque.

This is very study and works. Makes it easier for us to get in and out of the pool.

We installed this about 6 weeks ago and it has already started to rust. We live in the Central Valley of California and have had no rain (over 100 degrees the last two weeks) so VERY DISAPPOINTED

The railing came with all the necessary parts and a concrete drill bit. I had to rent a hammer drill from Home Depot. I was only able to drill the 4 holes approx 1 inch into my pavers and coping. I don't know if it was the drill or a lack of strength. So I ended up hiring a handyman. When installed, the front 2 holes in the bottom plate were drilled into the concreted coping pavers. The back 2 holes were in uncemented pavers. They moved when I put pressure on the end of the railing. So we removed the ladder and cemented in the pavers. The handyman had already installed the 3 inch anchors in the pavers, so after letting the cement sit a couple of days, I was able to install the bolts with a socket wrench. I later discovered the pavers were not reinstalled level, so there was a 1/2 inch gap in one of the rear bolts showing under the plate. The plate bent to fit the other rear bolt. I filled the gap with a mix from a tube of concrete adhesive mix. It looks fine and all the bolts are in tightly. I'm very pleased with the added security the railing gives. The padded velcro cover on the railing is a nice touch, as the metal would otherwise be hot after baking in the sun. It's a good product. I got the 48 x 32 railing. It's long enough to extend out over 2 steps, which gives plenty of support for older folks to get out of the pool.

Handle is very sturdy and well made and comes with mounting hardware and a hammer drill bit.Unfortunately the hardware is metric and the drill bit has a square shank, neither of which are available in the Southeast US. I could not find a square-shank hammer drill, and I could not find a metric round-shank drill bit in any of the local hardware stores. I was under time pressure so I could not order an adapter or bit online.I ended up buying new 3/8" hardware and a readily-available round-shank hammer drill with 3/8" bit.

Love that this came with all the mounting hardware, including the correct bit for a hammer drill for the concrete expansion anchors. The full baseplate makes marking the drill points simple. For DIY folks: Depending on your pool deck, it can be a bit tough with the drilling to install the anchors. A standard poured concrete deck would be easy. I've got pebble aggregate concrete, and a Ryobi ONE+ HP hammer drill shut down due to overheat after finishing 2.5 of the anchor holes. (It was also 90F in full sunlight where I was working.) But, the average DIYer drill may take a cool-down between start and finish.Regardless, the railing is nice and solid feeling, and made for an excellent addition to the single long rail we already had in the middle of the pool stairs.

UPDATE: HANDLE COVER COMPLETLY UV WASHED OUT, SAD NOT EVEN 4 MONTHS IN USEVery nice handrail! All hardware included! It took me 30 minutes to install using a hammer drill. Before bolting to deck I, CERAMIC COATED THE HANDRAIL! (Autokcan 10H Nano Ceramic Coating) Very important to do so which will keep surface rust from appearing on the stainless steel in the future. Takes 5 minutes to do a treatment. I would suggest doing treatment once a year to keep looking like new. You can use this on your stainless BBQ grill also!CON: they provide a hammer bit, but it will require a 1/2" chuck. Most DIYER's have the smaller chuck. I had the #12 hammer bit so for me no issue. They should put both bit's in hardware. Make sure you vacuum up dust & blow out holes with compressed air prior to installing. EASY PEAZY!
