What are the strings for? Even the video I found was not clear and made it look easier than it was.I finally got the rods in.

I bought this tent to cover my pond. The description shows the zip is on the 14 foot side which is not true. The zip is on the shorter side of the tent which makes it a little harder for me to access my filter and pump. I hope it helps keep my neighbors leaves out of my pond. Time will tell.

It does take more than one person to set this up but once you get it setup it is easy to use. Tall which is nice makes it easier to get into. Seems to be made well and should hold up. We have lots of deers this should keep them out and protect my plants. It is a nice size rather big which makes it nice to cover more space.

The cover has the construction of a tent: the two poles are made of smaller segments of fiberglass with an elastic cord linking them and metal tubes connecting the segments. The two poles attach to the net through long fabric tubes on the diagonals of the net. The resulting structure is pretty much the same as the inner lining of lightweight tents, but without the outer cover over the mesh / net.The included leaflet provides an email address for support and states a one year “parts replacement service warranty”.The biggest concerns for me are from the discrepancy between the amazon page statements and the leaflet in the package: the page description states “Reliable Quality: It’s Made Of Resilient Nylon Material, The High Quality Glass Fiber Bars Provide A Strong Frame For Atrocious Weather” while the leaflet reads “Avoid using in bad weather (sun exposure wind / heavy rain and heavy snow)”. The page description calls this a “garden and pond cover net”, while the leaflet states “Please keep in a dry and ventilated place”. The stated purposes for this cover, ponds and vegetable beds, do put lots of moisture in the air. It sounds like this is meant as a temporary cover; not very practical. For the stated purpose, vegetable garden and pond cover, this cover does not seem very well thought-through: the tubes joining the segments should have been tight fitting, better sealing and weather-resistant, to prevent moisture from getting into the joints and to the elastic cord. The margins of the net should have sturdier anchoring rather than the 8 metal stakes provided. Sand bags or a way to fill the perimeter sleeves with sand or pebbles would help with the stability of the cover. I hope the net doesn’t retain water and dries fast, otherwise mold will become an issue – cannot tell until I put this to good use over the summer.I intend to use this over a garden patch. As it is, I need to improvise some weighting for the margins and it will work, for sure. I doubt I will get more than one or two seasons of use from this cover, which makes it rather expensive.

I ordered this to protect strawberry plants from hungry bunnies. I read some reviews before ordering it and I reached out to the seller for clarification regarding the "tent" and was told that I could definitely leave this over strawberry plants for the entire growing season. Given the clarification, that is exactly what I intend to do and will update if there are any issues.

This pond cover is very heavy duty and well made. We're using it for a greenhouse to cover and protect our garden plants. It's not too difficult to set up but does require some patience. The case is great for storage. It's a bit pricey for just a couple of seasons use but it's nice and does the Job.

I’ve never seen one of these before. It looked like a tent made of screen in the product photos. And that’s about what it is. I love it. I’m not sure we will continue to use it just because we ended up doing a bigger garden than we thought—much too large for this. But this is great for those sensitive plants we are concerned about squirrels and deer getting mainly. This works well. Easy to assemble. Seems decently made. Gets the job done just as I had hoped.

Well my outdoor camera caught an eagle swooping down to my pond and taking a fish, so I needed something to protect it. It is fairly large, It is a like a camping tent but with a mesh shell. It is well worth it protect my pond fishes.
