So pleased with this purchase. Puts out phenomenal sound with no dead spots in its range. Vocals are crystal clear. And it’s slim enough to easily fit in my sound transparent floating media console (Woodwaves).

The speaker image above is not of the ES 35 Polk center speaker which has (6) 3 inch woofers and 1 inch Twitter , the ES 35 is an amazing speaker with good clarity and well rounded sound, very hard speaker to beat at this price range.

We have 6.5" Sonos 5.1 surround speakers mounted in our ceiling, all sound great except the center channel which has a bit of a delay and isn't as crisp and clear as i would like. I disconnected our ceiling mount and installed this on our mantle just below the TV and Wow, what a huge difference right out of the gate. I highly recomend this speaker.

Let me first say that I am an acoustic suspension guy, I was never drawn (very much) to ported speaker designs. That being said, there are design advantages to a ported design. The ES35 is small in size (about 4 x 6 x 24 inches). I am using the ES35 with a projection TV where the space under the screen is limited. I couldn't use my old center acoustic suspension speaker as it is too large.Summary: The ES35 has sturdy construction and is well build. I installed it on ordinary drywall. Wall mounting hardware is not supplied, but that's fine with me as I usually discard any provided hardware and buy my own superior fittings.The ES35 is a decent sounding speaker of compact size. It appears that I can blend the ES35 into my surround sound system (mainly by adjusting amplifier gains). The clarity of the ES35 is good, but I am not sure if the speaker muffles voice or not. For situations like mine, I would say that the ES35 is a buy. Maybe for other people and other situations, the ES35 would be a decent choice no matter what size limitations may exist.

This is a great speaker for the price. It is a Replacement for a smaller center speaker but made a huge difference in the sound quality.Came in additional packaging to protect the speaker well. Comes with a template for wall mounting.

This speaker is a huge step up in quality over my previous center channel (Polk Blackstone TL1) - the audio is much clearer and appreciate the frequency range it can reproduce. It's not much bigger than a typical sound bar (a little narrower, but deeper) so it can easily fit under a TV when placed on a console table.

I have XT-series 5.1.2 home theater setup in a small/mid-sized living room XT35C+XT60 Front L/R + XT90 FH + XT15 Rear L/R + PSW111 subwoofer. All powered by Denon X1700H AVR. I was more than happy with the setup with sub and front speakers acoustically isolated from the suspended wooden floor system on the first floor. Subwoofer by the Sound Addicted VibeBoss P10 and Floor Standing speakers installed on modified bases from Kanto SP26PL 26" Bookshelf Speaker Stands. However, center channel speaker installed under TV was quite often failing to deliver soundstage I want for watching movies and didn't have enough sound depth for dialogues. Using ES35 over XT35 made a HUGE difference for me. No matter these speaker characteristics ES35 offers a very noticeable improvement over XT35. I love XT35 but it fails to produce the same quality dialogs while doing fine with instrumental music. ES35 delivers tremendous value for the price and also looks great. Now I am weighting to see if ES50's is something that makes sense over XT60's. The one thing I can say for sure Polk's proprietary power port technology used in ES series is not a marketing gimmick and does make a difference in bass accuracy and perception. Accounting for ES series speakers being only slightly more expensive than XT equivalents I may end up swapping my XT home theater to ES piece by piece now. ES35 really impressed me.UPDATE: After using ES35 for watching movies and listening to pretty much all kinds of music through HEOS for two months I can 100% recommend it to anybody looking for a quality center channel speaker for their setup. The amount and accuracy of bass for a speaker of this size are unbelievable. I saw some opinions on Home Theater and Audiophile forums stating that any center channel speaker with dynamics smaller than 5.25" isn't worth its money. After using ES35 I tend to disagree with them. The sound accuracy and volume this speaker produces are amazing. It has powerful bass, and accurate and deep instrumental and voice reproduction at pretty much any volume. Never had to pump the volume up above 55 on the Denon receiver though. This speaker is a must-have for a small to mid-sized room setup with a speaker located under TV. You will not regret buying it.

Beautiful speaker, looks great with grill on or off, sounds awesome for its size. I can hear and feel some good lows coming from this small thing. Easy to wire, the holes in the terminals are big enough for thick gauge speaker wire, and the terminals are apart enough that wires won't cross after u tighten them down. I purchased this to put below my TV in addition to my Anthony Gallo reference center, which is mounted above TV, so that dialogue will also be projected to ear level. I've purchased Polk speakers for my car, they sound excellent and this speaker is no different. It goes great with my Polk 12 inch sub that's in my entertainment room. Everything sounds awesome now, movies, music, Xbox games. Highly recommend this speaker if your looking for a center speaker that doesn't take up too much space.

This review is of the Polk Signature Elite ES35 Slim Center Channel Loudspeaker. It's exactly what I was looking for in a center channel speaker: low profile, good clear, crisp sound, and reasonably attractive. It is relatively unobtrusive sitting in front of a mid-size table-top flat-screen TV, doesn't block the TV's screen or remote sensor, and really helps to bring out the dialogue when watching TV or streaming movies. While it's certainly not Polk's top-of-the line, it's perfect for my purposes. I have it paired with a set of tower speakers and a subwoofer, so the quite limited bass response in this low-profile center speaker is not a problem. I'm not crazy about the plastic enclosure, but it looks and sounds plenty good enough. I see that the price has gone up a bit since I purchased mine in March, so now it's maybe not quite as good a value as before.

Estaba buscando una bocina central que ofrecía buena calidad de sonido, encontré esta Polk y me sorprendió lo bien que se escucha, no me arrepiento de haberla comprado además de que conseguí un buen precio directo con Amazon.
