They are designed for more applications than any other type of wheel. Polyolefin wheels are an excellent low cost wheel. Polyolefin is a very durable plastic material and these wheels can be used in a wide range of applications including bakeries, meat processing and packaging, dairies, food processing, laundries, supermarkets, offices, warehousing and manufacturing. Most sizes of polyolefin wheels have a slightly crowned tread offering excellent rollability and maneuverability. Various sizes, bores and bearings are available for our polyolefin wheels. Our standard color is black, but it can be ordered in white.

Replaces wheels on Shopsmith UPGRADE Casters. Works perfectly, but made out of the material, so we'll have to see if they last. Still less expensive than buying four complete casters.

Dimensions and materials are all exactly as listed, and they are solid medium hard wheels. Only note is as another reviewer noted, they are manufactured in Taiwan (stamped into wheel hub), not USA, so Amazon's product origin is in error. Super good value for the quality IMO.

Was looking for a replacement wheel only to replace the original ShopSmith Red and Gray larger wheel that failed Reusing the original hardware and used this wheel for perfect replacement. All aspects of the rolling height and stationary position worked like the original, but this is, in my opinion, a superior wheel to it’s weight capacity rating, plus the old wheel feel apart.

This actually was a replacement for a caster on a subwoofer that I use as a musician in a band. It is about 90 pounds and has 4. One broke....actually, it looked like it deteriorated. For the first one, I bought a replacement from the manufacturer which was the entire caster...the swivel mount, the wheel, the bearing, etc. As I was replacing it, I notice another wheel that was starting to go. So...I bought this wheel as a replacement at about 1/4 the price. IT WORKS PERFECTLY! Been in use now for at least 6 months.

Two of the four wheels delivered were not even the advertised wheel. They appeared to be unfinished wheels of a different cross section. The wheels were bored but had no steel sleeve or bearing. I suggest you try another supplier.

Did not actually use to repair my Nordic Rider exercise machine. Diameter was a touch to big, but excellent quality and value. Will use in my hobby shop.
