Easy set-up. Only a small work space is required. Pictures scan quickly. Quality of 300 dpi scans is excellent! Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this photo scanner. I have over 20 photo albums from when my kids were little and I never look at them. All of our photos from when they were teens until now are on the computer. This scanner allowed me to scan them all into the computer so quickly! I was able to edit them when necessary, crop them and rotate. It's a great product and I highly recommend. The only slight negative is that it only allowed me to scan ~55 photos before I was required to save them to a folder on the computer. I'd be on a roll and have to stop to review them and save. Once you save to the computer, you can use the scan to edit the photos any longer.

This thing is saving me from a nervous breakdown putting every family picture on a flat bed scanner. It's really fast at 300 dpi, it's a little slower at 600 dpi. But the software it comes with was super easy to download and use right away. It comes with some decent editing tools you can adjust the photos with. The one con I can find is only that the software only scans 50 photos before you've got to stop and move the pictures to your drive, etc. Quality of the scans for old family photos is really nice, I would say it's best on the older photos. A lot of 90s photo flashes really distort the images. Anyway, if you're on the fence I recommend this of flatbed scanners drive you crazy like me.

Nice to have a bag to put the scanner in to keep everything together, protect the scanner, and keep dust off.

Pros:1) Detects if you have overlapping pages (e.g., 2 pages stuck together). It stops and gives you a chance to fix the issue or start over.2) Can connect via wifi or with USB cable to computer.3) Can setup multiple profiles4) Relatively fast5) Once you have it configured, it's easy to use6) It has a lot of flexibility7) Can scan using icons on the unit or using its app on a computer8) The manufacturer adds desirable features to its app9) It's a compact unit that's easy to carry around.Cons:1) Its flexibility means there is a lot to understand. It was relatively easy to set up after watching a few videos various people have posted on Youtube. I don't remember all of its various capabilities - once I got it set up the way I need it, I haven't had to make any changes.2) The products needed for cleaning the machine are expensive3) It doesn't come with a carrying bag. Fortunately a 3rd party (Plustek on Amazon) makes one that accommodates the unusual shape of the scanner.
