I could only get thick, as in bagel thickness slices. It felt like the plastic guides could snap. I threw it out because I had thrown out the box it came in. Lesson learned.

Love how you can choose thickness of bread. You can cut without smooshing it down. Crumb tray is a nice bonus. Easy to clean.

The size is right for bread machine loaves and the knife stored within is handy.I find it difficult to make reasonably even slices from very fresh bread. I am practicing for perfection.
