Absolutely the best ventless fireplace you can purchase.This is my third one that I have had installed in my home.You cannot believe the heat that comes from this fireplace.I am telling you that last winter we hardly put the heat on (electric) in the house.We relied 90% on this fireplace.It is A MUST…A MUST..A MUST..to have the blower that is advertised with the fireplace installed.It’s amazing the amount of heat that the blower circulates thru out the rooms.The remote control is the greatest thing.It has a 2 degree variable before it shuts the fireplace off and when the temp drops down the 2 degrees it fires up again.It takes the blower about 7 minutes to start up once the fireplace fires up.You will not be disappointed with the overall look of this fireplace.The wood frame is extremely attractive and has quite the detail built in.It is very rich looking and very well made.Hope this helps.

Fireplace and logs are very nice but we aware we went through 4 receiver boxes before we got one that works! It would work for 3-4 days then beep incessantly and we’d have to take the batteries out and re-pair the remote and device, the remote is never more than 5ft from the fireplace! We replaced the batteries with new ones numerous times.

After a couple of weeks it seemed like the thermostats wasn't working so I called the customer service department. The experience was great. The call only took 10 minutes from the time I dialed to hanging up. They diagnosed and told me the remote was not working and are sending me a new one. The lady I talked to was courteous and got my problem solved. I would recommend this product and company to everyone.

The unit was well packaged and easy to assemble. It seems sturdy enough, and the placement of the logs make it look bigger than it is.But although the pilot started fine, it won't stay lit. Not much point in having a fireplace that won't light a fire.

I was skeptical to purchase this fireplace sight-unseen but I have no regrets. My husband was able to install it himself (although I do not recommend DIY for gas appliances. He has experience) and within a couple hours of its arrival, we were enjoying a cozy warm living room. I was surprised how realistic the flame/log setup replicates a real fire. We are running it with natural gas. We also like the remote control feature. The wood finish is nice and well-constructed. The top does not get hot so we are able to put holiday candles on top without fear of melting. We purchased the blower separately through a 'big-box' home store but found we did not need it because the fireplace heats our living room efficiently without so we returned the blower. Overall, we are very satisfied.
