Our old diaper genie broke in storage so we got a new one. So far so good. Easy to use. It takes the bags we had a stock of. It keeps the smell down and hold plenty of diapers.

Love it. Simple and elegant solution for disposing diapers. Easy to assemble, easy to operate. My only concern is the base is a bit too narrow for the height. It does not feel stable enough when stands on the carpet without leaning on the wall.

The Playtex Diaper Genie Complete is an absolute must-have for any parent dealing with diapers. It’s incredibly easy to use with its hands-free foot pedal, which is a lifesaver during busy diaper changes. The odor-locking system works wonders, keeping unpleasant smells completely contained, even in a small nursery. I also appreciate how large the capacity is—it reduces the number of times I need to empty it. The sleek design fits seamlessly into my nursery decor, and the added carbon filter is a thoughtful touch for extra freshness. It’s functional, hygienic, and worth every penny!

This is a cheap diaper pail that is susceptible to breaking at the plastic joints. However, the customer service was incredible. It comes with a one-year warranty, but they honored a replacement lid 2 1/2 years after my purchase date. I appreciate the gesture of goodwill!

I've had a Munchkin step pail for quite some time and love it's sturdiness and odor-capture effectiveness. However, when I decided to get another diaper pail for my second changing area, I didn't want to spend as much as I did for my primary pail. Enter the Genie Complete. Overall, it mostly gets the job done. But its capacity is smaller than the Munchkin and the lid frequently gets stuck, which drives me crazy. Sometimes the diapers don'' drop down into the base, which allows stink to occasionally escape. This is definitely better than using a regular trash can, but I wish I had paid a bit more for something better.

Es súper practico, fácil de usar y de verdad guarda olores, la habitación no huele nada a pañal. Las bolsas fáciles de poner solo que el filo de la navaja para cortar la bolsa es muy leve.

This specialty garbage can works well. However I don’t know why the special garbage bag should be so pricey. Disappointed with capitalism and felt robbed by being a mom :(

Have been using this Diaper Genie since my son was born (16 months) and can't imagine any other way of disposing of his diapers in a clean, efficient and as scent free of a way as possible. It's important to know that you need to get the charcoal inserts to limit the smell. If you're using it without the charcoal, there will be a diaper smell that wafts from the Diaper Genie. Also, I found that the Playtex brand bag refills work much better than the no-name brand refills. The name brand refills slide much easier down into the Genie, which makes it less of a hassle in day-to-day use.Highly recommended over the other versions of diaper genie. The foot pedal on this version makes the entire experience much cleaner and easier for a busy parent.

I just bought a second Diaper Genie for my brother, who is expecting their first little on in February. My little girl is a year and a half now, so my Diaper Genie is that old. I have to say this thing is super convenient. I have not owned any other diaper pail so I have no experience to compare them, but I’ll give you my pros and cons to this thing and you can decide where to go from there.PROS: other than putting in the trash bags for it and the carbon filter on top, the Diaper Genie comes already put together. When my little one was younger and on formula, her #2s were messy but not overly stinky. Worst case scenario if the Diaper Genie got “dirty”, it was simple to wash off with a water hose or just use some disinfectant wipes. As she has gotten into eating solid foods, man does that #2 stink.... this Diaper Genie is a life saver and beats using a grocery store’s plastic bag or putting those dirty diapers in our trash can. It does a great job of isolating the smell. Lastly, the Diaper Genie doesn’t stand out and blends in pretty well with any set up you may have for your little one. Changing out the bags can be simple as it comes with a little mechanism that can be used to cut the bag. Just don’t let the bag get too full as that can complicate things.CONS: This does a great job at trapping smells, but when you open the door you release the beast! I strongly recommend buying extra carbon filters as they help with the smell some. I feel this will apply with any diaper pail. Expect vengeance from the smells when you open that door. Also, the garbage bags took me a minute to learn how to install but my wife had no issues. That was Probably just user error. The other con is that those bag refills aren’t expensive but they aren’t cheap either. If you have multiple kids you may run out a little quicker. I only have my one little girl now so it’s not a big issue for me. I’ve seen others make the comment that the door doesn’t close properly, which just means that the diaper pail is very full. Change that bad boy out and you shouldn’t have any issues. In the end I strongly recommend this product as it will save your nose. Just do yourself a favor and grab some extra carbon filters.
