Save time working all thread for supporting of plumbing and electrical projects. Vary durable and long lasting. Well worth the price. There are power tools for cutting and prepping all thread that cost $300-$400.

Used to chamfer 16 cut-off studs, did it each one in 2 or 3 seconds on the end of a drill driver. 16 for 16 for nuts threading back on with 0 issues.

Great for cleaning edges on threaded rod, even use it on barrels to fix cross threaded muzzle devices

Fixes the ends of allthread so you can screw nuts on. Used for 10 hours a day for a week and it’s starting to get unusable, I have to order a new one for next week. If you only use it occasionally it will last a long time

The PLATINUMEDGE Deburring External Chamfer Tool with its YG8 carbide blade is a great tool for removing burrs and repairing damaged bolts. The 1/4-inch hex shank makes it easy to attach to most drills, and it works effectively on sizes from 1/8” to 3/4” (3mm-19mm). The quick-release feature is convenient for swapping out tools. However, it can be a bit hard to control, especially when working on smaller or more delicate tasks. While the tool does its job well, I found that it takes a bit of practice to use it smoothly and accurately. Overall, it's a solid tool for deburring, but the lack of precision control knocks it down a star. Still highly recommended for the right projects!

This is one of these tools that you don't need very often but when you need it, you NEED it. This one worked great on 1/4-20 screws. Took all of 6 seconds to put a nice chamfer on the end of a screw cut to length with a hacksaw. I still ran a wire wheel over it and chased it with the nut already threaded onto the screw. Pretty certain it will work just a well with larger screws, I just haven't needed it yet. Recommend this one to all my rowdy screw-cutting friends.

I’m currently building some custom deck railings using thick, galvanized feedlot panel mesh. Instead of sandwiching the mesh between two boards (which looks tacky), I’m drilling holes for the mesh rods to push into. After cutting the mesh pieces, I’ve been using my grinder to chamfer the rod ends so they don’t grab the wood when being pushed in. It was a time-consuming process, so I decided to get one of these. It deburrs the rods very easily and quickly. Looking forward to using it on some threaded rod pieces soon too.Wish I would have bought one of these years ago so I didn’t have to always use my grinder when cutting bolts. Definitely worth the purchase.First photo shows rod ends both before and after using the tool.
