decent quality, works as described, not the greatest tolerances, if you need precision and accuracy I would buy Bosch brand router bits

I use this cutter in my milling machine to make pockets in cedar fish grilling planks for a restaurant. I've machined several hundred 1/4 inch deep pockets in planks during the last 6 months with this cutter. It still cuts, well, but is showing signs of age. Visually the cut edges look good, but the finished surface has a little bit of fuzz left after cutting. I wish router bit manufactures would list the grade of carbide they use in their products. Better grades of router cutters are C3 carbide, while lesser grades only use C1 carbide that's pretty similar to M2 tool steel. My guess is this cutter may be C2 carbide, but for the price, it has worked for me.

I used the bit to level both ends of a 15" red pine log (softwood). And there was much to cut because I did a poor job with the chainsaw. At the end the bit seemed just as sharp as when I started.

I knew what I was getting, an inexpensive combination set that might last for one or two projects. I am using it to find the bits that are worth investing more money for repeated use. It's two dollars a bit or so and worth the investment in my opinion. The case is virtually useless, isn't aligned, one of the clips won't even close but it held together long enough to get the bits here.

I like that this set comes with 80% of all the bits one would need for light woodworking. They all work great and have had no trouble using them. One thing they should make the hole bigger to hold the bits, really annoying to get them out of the plastic tubes to use. I cut a lot of box joints and have used all of the straight cut bits. So far so good!
