I needed a mudding hawk on a budget and this one was exactly what I was looking for. The only downside is the small divot on top where it screws together with the handle. Obviously mud gets in there all the time and needs a little extra cleaning when you're done for the day. But for the price I really can't complain, it gets the job done and feels good in the hand.

If you're not a pro and don't have ton's of mud to lay down, this is a good, value-priced option. I didn't like that the handle bolt is in a divit that will have to be cleaned out regularly. More expensive options are flush completely across the surface. But, I opted for value, so I got what I paid for.

This is a must have tool for any DIYer. So much better than a traditional pan. Easy clean up. More versatility. If you’re doing a bunch of drywall, I urge you to purchase to tool.

I have used this quite alot now and it has held up well. Resistant to scratching and cleans up easy. Heavy duty but not too heavy to hold all day.
