Wish the handle was a little longer and thicker.

I use these for archaeological excavation. They are the gold standard for that and they still make them well. Good steel that sharpens well and holds a fairly good edge.

Great trowel. I was the only person at the site with a rectangular trowel, and was the envy of them all. Heavy duty, and limestone and packed dirt resistant. Can't wait to use for my next dig.

I am an archaeologist and this trowel is great for cleaning floors and straightening walls! It's no replacement for your pointing trowel, but it's a great addition to your kit.

I am a DIY and works on smaller repair jobs at home. I bought this tool to repair the bottom edge of exterior stucco wall. I needed to fill some gaps between the stucco and the wall behind the stucco. This is the right tool than a painter's knife, as it made it much easier to do a good job. It is a quality tool; it is solid and well balanced and the metal has a nice bell sound when you hit it. Even though it is not stainless steel, I clean it with water and dry it after each use. I have used the tool several times and have not seen any rust yet.
