Exactly what I ordered. Perfect for our big barra lures and plenty of storage space, would also be good if you had a lot of smaller lures as you can custom the lure spaces. Amazon prime great service with quick delivery and the price.. outstanding. Very happy.

Prior to purchasing this, I stored my electronic parts in two large tackle boxes – the old Plano’s that had six fold-out trays with about twelve sections in each tray. I liked the old Plano style but the fold-out trays took up a lot of workspace and made the tackle box somewhat unstable. I also own one of the huge Plano FTO Elite Ultimate Angler System tackle boxes which includes several utility boxes – three large utility boxes and four smaller ones. I love the Ultimate Angler box for my fishing tackle but figured it didn’t quite fit the bill for storage of electronic parts. The Plano 7771 Guide Series, with 4 large boxes and room for additional smaller utility boxes, allowed me to consolidate all my parts into a single container. In the attached photos, you can see the four 2-3701 (23701) utility boxes are easily configurable for electronic parts. The long dividers are fixed in the box. If you look carefully, the long dividers are molded onto a slight ridge. When you insert the smaller dividers into the slots, insert the slightly rounded edge downward. This curvature fits the molded ridge on the bottom of the tray producing a seamless divider that won’t allow smaller electronic parts to slip under. The slots that the dividers fit into are spaced a bit too narrow to hold a resistor without bending the wires. I had to insert slots into every-other channel to produce a section wide enough to hold resistors. This gave me a total of 15 bins in the 23701 utility box in which I divided resistors ranges for organization. I was able to fit 2,600 resistors with room to spare.I also purchased four Plano 2-3500 (23500) utility boxes (). As you can see in the photo, three of these fit in the bottom-right space (slide them in long-ways on their edge). The 23500 boxes have 9 sections (also configurable with dividers) giving you 27 more usable sections in the bottom right of the 7771.I also found the four 23500 boxes will fit into the top large space in the 7771 with room to spare. As you can see in the photo, there’s a large amount of space still left and indeed, six 23500’s almost fit but the hinges didn’t quite clear. You could possibly force them in but I didn’t want to chance it. With the 23500 utility boxes stacked on top of each other in this top section, the lid closes fine. I plan on purchasing four more to place in the top of the 7771.The top right space on the 7771 is accessible by unlatching and raising the large tackle box lid or by popping upon the little door on top. Four of the common 4” x 7” segmented electronic component boxes fit in there (stacked on top of each other) without extending above the ridge of the tackle box (see photos). A fifth box could be stacked on top if you wanted and the lid will still close. The 4” x 7” boxes are easy to pull out of the popup lid hole too (i.e. you don’t have to open the large lid to get to them). Finally, the top lid has a clear door that pops up giving access to five more rows of storage (two large sections and three smaller sections). These also have divider slots that could be used to create fourteen more sections. I left the dividers out and use this top section for wire and components I want to grab quickly.Given that it’s a Plano box, the quality if of course, great. I have several Plano tackle boxes that I’ve owned since I was a kid and are now over 30 years old. They last forever. Was a great buy and worked perfectly for my electronic component storage.

This replaced another tackle box my husband used for many years that recently broke when he stepped on it trying to get to the back of his boat in some rough water. He's a pretty avid fisherman and a bit selective about his gear. He spends so much time on the water that the gear he uses needs to be well suited to him or else he gets frustrated with it, then eventually buys something else and spends twice as much money as he needs to just to get the one item he needed. His gear doesn't have to be expensive, he just likes gear that works well.We went by a Cabela's to find a new tackle box and found this Plano 7771 system. After going through quite a few other boxes as well, he came back to this one and decided on it. And as it turned out it was less here online. So I ordered it here instead of picking it up in store and saved quite a bit of money. My husband fishes all seasons and for several different types of fish. From ice fishing all winter (which is a long season here in Minnesota), to fishing in-land lakes, Lake Superior (a lake the size of a state) and he also spends a lot of time on the Mississippi River. So he carries a ton of different types of lures, weights, leaders, hooks, jig heads, etc. with him all the time. He likes all his gear in one box, not different boxes for different seasons or types of fishing. So he likes a tackle box that holds it all, like this one does. And although you can carry a lot with this, it's not so huge that it's like you're carrying something the size of a Craftsman tool chest with you. But it does get heavy when you load it up. So it's not really the tackle box you want to carry if you're going to be trekking quite a ways to your fishing hole on foot. But it's a good system when you're fishing from your boat, only walking a short ways or have something to carry your gear on when you're taking it out to the ice shack.Great tackle box that's designed to carry just about everything!

The organizational capabilities of this box are fantastic. There are 4 trays that go into the front that have adjustable dividers inside of them - typical of similar boxes of this design. There are 2 solid latches on the front of each tray (in the main product picture it shows these latches as yellow, mine were black) so everything is kept nice and snug. If you don't have them in there perfectly, you could get small items to slide between the compartments but for most items that's not a concern. The trays themselves have separate areas to slide them into here - they are not just stacked on top of themselves (this is hard to see in the pictures, but they're separated). The front right side can be used to hold other (smaller, not included) compartment boxes as well, or better yet for larger items. Above this space is another which is accessible from the top right of the lid which lifts up independently of the rest of the lid. There are large dividers that you can use sort of like a rolodex system here, but I don't use those. I use it for larger items. The whole top lid opens to reveal another layer of storage. Mine came with another compartment organizer box that's a little smaller than the 4 main ones but just as useful and configurable (but I've read reviews where others did not get this with their boxes). Then there is other room in there, along with this tray being configurable on its own with a generous assortment of dividers included. The very top of the box has a clear (smoke colored) lid with even more compartments for organized storage. It's a large box but not overly heavy at all (until you fill it with stuff, of course!). It feels very sturdy, but wouldn't survive a roll down the steps without at least opening the lid and the front cover I'm sure. That said, it's meant to keep you organized, not replace your fire safe! :)Very highly recommended!-D
