This has an upfront almond extract smell, but more floral undertones. I was a bit disappointed, was expecting an almond extract smell like when you are baking, has almost a gardenia smell that is the more lingering smell.

The smell is right on. This fragrance oil worked perfectly in my cold processed soap making. I've had a couple other fragrance oils from this company behave badly, (Jasmine and Leather) so it can be a risk. I just hot processed those ones and the scent is always true and exceptional either way.

This has a good, almond scent, but it's not strong. I was using it for bath goodies for Christmas giving and would have liked it to have been stronger so I didn't have to add so much, nevertheless, people could tell that it was almond. However, I tried adding it to a diffuser and could smell nothing.

If you love the scent of almonds than you will love this!!I use it in my diffuser and it smells so good!!

I previously ordered the marshmallow scent from this brand & I absolutely love it, so I decided to get almond as well. Oh my God it doesn't smell like almond AT ALL! I hate to say this but it's really gross! It smells like honeysuckle, (I HATE HONEYSUCKLE) mixed with another scent that I would imagine the inside of an occupied coffin smells like. I had my husband smell it to see what he thought, ( before I told him what it was SUPPOSED to be, or what I think that it smells like. He made the worst face, waved his hand to try to get the smell away & described it as roses & old lady scent. So, no - the bottle that I received doesn't smell like almond or almond blossom even. I have A LOT of almond scented lotions, candles, etc. & none of them smell remotely like this, thank God! I'm very upset, as this isn't just a personal preference thing - this product does not smell as advertised. I wonder if the bottle that I received somehow went bad, was cursed en route or IDK, anything except that it's supposed to smell the way it does because I can't imagine anyone wanting almond scent would like this in the least bit & since there are several positive reviews- I'm left scratching my head. I would be more than happy to update my review if the seller would send me a different scent that doesn't make me nauseous.

It doesn’t smell like almond at all.. it smells like Cherry, but it does smell really good.I did read the other reviews, but I wanted to take a chance anyway, but they were right it doesn’t smell anything like almond

Since I purchase almond fragrances regularly, I decided to try this brand which was recommended by a co-worker. i selected the larger size since i always find myself with new uses for the oil. Delivery was shorter than expected so i immediately poured this oil into a large reed diffuser which clearly exceeded my expectations for a small boiler room. The area was refreshed with a pleasant fragrance that you would find in bakeries which wasn't overpowering and did not combine itself with the harsh odor of fuel oil that has polluted my cellar. I decided to expand upon uses for this fragrance because of it's mild nature, so I poured 6.5 militers into several 1.3 liter cups of paraffin wax for scented candles. Once the paraffin solidified, I lit 2 candles in my home office and waited. After 40 minutes, the entire room and hall smelled sweet and no longer reeked of cigarettes or linoleum. Needless to say I am deeply satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it for those who want to eliminate stronger odors.
