Size should reflect the useful dimension within the hoop or frame. The outer dimension, which included the thickness of the hoop fails to adequately define the "usable" space, or the area f9r the item to be framed. (or post both sizes with clearly noted inclusions)

These are just great. You need to heat them in microwave after removing brown outer ring. Brown outer ring then is easier to stretch over plastic inner circle.

I broke the inner plastic ring the first time I tried to get the hoop apart. Then I looked up how to do it, and it got easier, but it was still difficult. When I put my fabric in the dark brown faux wood finish, it rubbed off all over my nice white canvas. My third try was successful, and the project looks cute, but I don't think I will buy them again.

This is a terrible product. Very difficult to take apart. Inner frame cracked and broke. I would be afraid to put a needlework project in it for fear it would damage it.

They look like wood but I think the outer ring is rubber, the inner ring is white plastic. They look nice when finished but a little difficult to take apart.

I made small embroideries of mistletoes hanging them around the house so people can kiss when they stand underneath them. It’s not the real thing but it was fun to do. Those small hoops worked really well for this project.

These finished off my embroidery pieces perfectly. They look just like real wood. A bit tough to get together but that’s made me feel like it would hold things in place nicely once I got it.

I’m not sure if I would use these while doing the needlework because they are a bit difficult to get off and on. But with the attached hardware they are perfect for hanging the finished piece.
