How to Use the Embroidery Hoops?
1. Separate the inner and outer frame.
2. Place the outer frame on the flat table.
3. Cover the flat embroidered cloth on the outer frame.
4. Lightly press the inner frame into the outer frame with embroidered cloth together.
5. Flip the embroidered cloth to feel the tightness, it can be used for embroidery in tight state.

These are standard bamboo embroidery hoops and work well.The wood is decently smooth, I didn’t have too many problems with splinters or rough wood. The thumb screws tighten and loosen easily.I was able to out fabric in them and use them for my hand embroidery just fine. I like that this set came with two different sizes to work with.

These wooden hoops are a great basic for needlework. The wood is smooth and the screws are easy to adjust. It can be hard to find smaller hoops, so getting 6 of the 3-inch size is really helpful!

These are very well made bamboo embroidery hoops. I use them for Native American beadwork though. I use stiffened felt and then embroider designs of my own on felt that I stiffen and dry myself. I embroider on the felt and then leave it on the hoop and it can be hung on the wall. Sometimes I may use feathers, fur, or beaded edgings. It just depends what inspiration hits me. These nice hoops are very well made and I'm impressed by their sturdiness. The bamboo is very smooth and strong and the fittings are very well made and not at all loose.

I'm using the little 4" hoops for Christmas ornaments and they are the perfect size. They close tightly, but a few of them were hard to twist. Wood is nice and smooth. No splinters.

My granddaughter asked for some cross stitch kits for Christmas. She wants to learn the fiber art and as any good Grandma should I found her some really cool kits that she's sure to love. None of the kits came with hoops so I needed a set for her to use. This set of 12 hoops is durable and the two sizes will be great for her to learn on and use to display her finished pieces. I like the fact that there were the two sizes to use. My granddaughters hands are small and I thought she might find the smaller hoops easier to use at first until she gets used to counting the squares and stitching. Then when she gets the hang of things she can switch to the larger hoops and be able to do more of the stitching before she has to move the fabric again. The edges on the hoops are nice and smooth and the adjustment screw and hardware are adequate. I'm very happy with the set and my granddaughter is going to be thrilled. She always likes to take down my finished works that I've done over the years when she comes over. She looks at them for what seems like hours sometimes. I can see her counting and figuring out where I started, stopped and changed things up to get the effect I wanted. I can't wait to give these hoops to her and I'm giving this set a yes.
