I've been playing and teaching for over 16 years and I found these string at a local store once and rediscovered them on Amazon. I am always very pleased with the quality of their products and the resonance that this string offers is great. It stretches but holds its tone and the sharpness of the note better than lower quality E strings. Love this string and will be ordering more when the time comes.

Rich, warm, clear, and I don't seem to have trouble with squeaking. I'll give you my secret: when you cross over to that string, the trick with avoiding squeaking is to cross over with confidence and authority. Wimpy string crossings with crooked bow causes squeaking, so do it with confidence and authority. That eliminates squeaking about 99% of the time.
