these strings, although a bit pricey, really make my violin sound better than it actually is. these gold strings ESPECIALLY are worth it because they last much longer than the original pirastros. i am a professional musician and have been using these strings for years. really crisp sound quality and super clear with high action. also lovely gold winding on the bottom and luxurious packaging. cant go wrong if you’re looking to splurge.

These strings are tops. I upgraded from the green label to these and they do sound great.I purchased 4/4 size for child’s 3/4.

The sound quality is very good and the strings vibrate with clarity. These strings seem to produce a loud sound and some may find that distracting even though one attempts to play softer.

These strings changed the sound of my violin significantly. I can project more and the tonal quality is superb. These are not for beginners, if you are an intermediate/professional performer, get these! Now each instrument is of course unique and may sound better with different strings, but give these a shot. Totally worth it!Heads up: the strings are super thick! When I grabbed the A string, I thought I was holding a G string, it's that thick. I had to double check their color code to make sure. I've never seen strings this thick before. Maybe that's why they're so freaking amazing!

The sound quality of these strings is amazing. It completely changed the tone of my instrument, and the resonance is incredible. I had people asking if I’d gotten a different instrument entirely! The fullness and resonance of the sound from the bottom to the top of the register is incredible. Highly recommend these strings!

The sound was good overall and I love buying Evah Pirazzi strings they resonate well with my violin. These sets usually last me 4-6 months without any problems (last set lasted 5 1/2 months) however the D and A strings started to lose their luster after 45 days. G and E strings were pretty good although I did change the E to try out a different kind of string. Very responsive strings overall and give a full sound. Will be trying out a different set of Evah Pirazzi gold next time however.

I put these strings on a mediocre late 19th century Mandini French violin that has a crack repaired back and a patch at the sunspots. I didn't even like to play this violin but putting these strings on it began waking it up from a century nap. It is now brilliant and clear and a joy to play. Immediately the strings sounded better but over the next month or so, playing 4 to 5 hours a week the sound keeps getting better and better even though my ability to play gets less and less. My old hands. This violin beeds setting up and pegs reworked uet it keeps playing better and better. I am very impressed. However, 8 think these strings are more attuned to soloist strings than regular Evans. I have found that I must scrape or buff the rosin off these strings after use or they will crust over. Never had that before. I use Jade rosin. Need to try the Evah rosin to see if it helps.
