This fit and works well. It’s holding up fine. I’m still slightly skeptical about the single ply. I have more faith in the mesh heads you can’t see right through. Still, it’s perfect for the price.

Beautiful looking product that absolutely does not last long. I used this mesh head on my Roland td50 for only two sessions and already it is destroyed: it has a huge hole right in the center.Save your money… buy elsewhere unless you only play with brushes.

This is a single-ply head made by evans!!! It’s not a cheap head by any means. I’ve been playing on it for practice and live sets and it’s heal up just fine. I used to carry around another head at the begging, but I e ditch it and I’m just using the Pintech head with joy.

Works incredibly well as a replacement for Alesis mesh heads. It’s been holding up well to my double bass exercises. Always been a fan of Evans heads. Nice product

If you're looking at this for an electronic drum kit, it's probably because you're using the FELT side of your kick drum beater. Don't do that - it destroys the mesh. Lesson learned (by me) and passed along. Use the smooth plastic beater side (if your beater has it - or get one that does. No issues so far - can't really speak to "sound quality" (LOL) or durability yet, but this replacement mesh head fit perfectly and works/looks great so far. Beater head switched around as well :-) Recommended

This mesh head should be named the “meh” head. I have tried the cheap Roland 2ply mesh heads but these were far worse. The trigger barely recognizes the sticks with these flimsy heads. Don’t buy these, just buy the Roland mesh heads and save yourself some time. Not that Roland should be proud either because none of these compare to the original mesh heads that come with your v drums but Roland doesn’t seem to offer those.

I wanted all black mesh heads for a new A2E kit about 4 years ago and needed an 18" for a floor tom. Pintech was the only company that made that size in black back then. I gave them a try and am very happy with them. They last forever and have a nice bounce, and are acoustically very quiet.I puchased a Roland PDX-12 and the double-ply mesh head was white, and it was much louder. Used this purcahse to replace it and it works great.

bit pricey for a single ply head but works so far. haven't noticed much stretching or fraying and I beat the heck out of them
