Great value as you get three very sharp items! I got this set for the pinking shears, which cut through fabric beautifully. As I don't really sew, I wanted them to cut fabric for collage purposes, but i think they woud work well for sewers too!The regular scissors work well also, though I found my hand getting more tired cutting with these than my other scissors.And the thread cutter is a very nice, nifty bonus.I would say get this if you really want the pinking shears, otherwise you may want to look at other scissors for general use.
