Like all Pillivuyt culinary porcelain, the brilliant and impermeable glaze will keep this useful baking and roasting dish beautiful for years to come - no permanent discoloration or baked-on stains on the hard-glazed surfaces. The surface acts almost like non-stick in the clean-up process and is resistant to scratching or chipping. Heat conduction is even and efficient. The "ear" handles make this dish easy to remove from the oven and carry to the table. The added depth makes this dish particularly useful for roasting and avoiding splattering in the oven. I love Pillyvuyt’s pieces - elegant in form. However, this roasting pan cracked after baking in a 350 degrees oven for one hour. Amazon refunded purchase price.

Beautiful pan. Will make lots of lasagne and other baked dishes. Have not used it yet so will leave further feedback.

Oddly shaped: the long sides bowed inward and I don't know if that is the design or a defect. I returned it.

I've used this a couple of times since my recent purchase and I love it. It's really lightweight and cleans up quickly. The handles make removal from the oven easy too. I plan to get more Pillivuyt in the future.Update: I purchased this roaster in December 2014, and I love it just as much now, as I did when I first received it. It still looks brand new, and being that we are a family of six it gets used quite a bit. I have three pieces of Pillivuyt, and each one performs beautifully.

This roaster is a great size to roast a large quantity of potatoes, veggies, etc. It is lightweight, sturdy and cleans easily!

For a product that costs this much, it didn't seem very durable if it broke during shopping. The packaging looked very substantial with a lot of bubble wrap. I didn't have it replaced because I really need more durable products for the heavy use I give my cookware.

Just what we wanted. It is much bigger than any roaster we have found. In addition, it is made well and looks great. Definitely worth the money. It is the kind of thing that we will use for the rest of our lives.
