I only use this for one set of prescription pills so I can’t speak on the longevity although it did work very well. Cut very cleanly works well didn’t have any problem brushing it out afterwards. I’m keeping it just in case I have to have other pills cut and half but for now the one dose cutting worked great.

It is NOT the best pill cutter. I usually read a ton of reviews before purchasing items, but didn’t this time. I like the look of this pill cutter - it is very sleek and strong-looking - and the fact that it locks but the pill guide on the inside is silicone which doesn’t hold the pill securely in place while you are cutting it so you get very inaccurate cuts. Also, the cuts are not very clean. I will keep it, but only until I find a better option.

I have to cut some large flat medication tablets in half for my dog to have the correct dosage. I just bought a new jar and cutting them in half gives her 10 months of the meds, so it’s worth it. I sit down to watch a movie or an episode or two of a tv series I’m catching up on and cut up the pills. They are dry and somewhat crumbly, but this cutter does considerably better than the drugstore one I previously used. The blade is sharp. I fully expect to have minor crumbles or dust - it’s not the end of the world - but because it’s designed for bigger tablets, it’s easy to use. I definitely recommend for this purpose. Reasonable price.

ピルケースが付属してない代わりにピルカッター本体が二つ入っていた。ピルケースも欲しかったしカッター二つあっても意味ないのでちょっと残念です。ピルカッター自体は良くできていると思います。
