It’s been a while since I had a picnic but receiving a kit as nice as this has convinced me that a really should give it a try.The hamper/backpack is constructed of a tough black material which looks like woven, rip-resistant microfiber to me. I certainly looks up to the task for me.Inside is a fold-out rug which neatly folds back with a Velcro wrapping and a clip which fixes to the outside of the bag. There’s also a zippered roll made from the same black material which houses two plastic glasses and both salt and pepper pots. That also has two clips which fix to another two on the other side of the bag. This seems well thought out. There’s two small book size pockets at the very front that would be big enough for a passport or wallet or maybe small condiment bottles or pouches? Behind that is a zippered compartment with elasticated retainers which could hold silverware but more of that later. Also toward the bottom of the compartment are larger retainers which could hold additional small plastic glasses (which apart from the main two aren’t included). The main compartment is quite ingenious. It opens out to a copious rectangular shape which is lined with an insulating material. You could put ice in here and fill it with tinnies or wine bottles. I also found it fit the regular, 4 cup, rectangular plastic food containers. You could easily stack those about three high in there with a little bit of padding (or ice) or smaller food containers. Even hot containers could fit but please make sure they are the type with very tight fitting lids or things could get messy. In that compartment was also a padded and zippered fold-out tray containing two sets of silverware, wine uncorker, two lunch-size plates, a small square chopping board and a tablecloth.I’m a bit foxed as to why the outfit is pictured with the silverware held vertically in the front compartment when it all fits so well in here as a compact solution but, hey, it’s nice to have additional options if you need them.Like I said, I haven’t been picnicking in forever but having an option like this makes you want to just jump on a bike and give it a try. I think I just will!

This is a well-made and well-designed picnic backpack with mostly quality materials that will serve my family well. It only comes with a complete set of needed items for two people, but there's plenty of room to add some of our own for our two kids.Pros:1. It has sealed zippers in the cooler compartments to keep any liquids from leaking, though I don't recommend using ice cubes since this is also where other items are stored that won't do well getting wet.2. There's a lot of storage space and separated pockets that can be used however I want.3. It comes with a picnic blanket that's surprisingly comfortable and good quality. It also folds up well and fits in the top cooler bin if that isn't being used or in the side mesh pocket. If using the side, there's a strap that will keep it cinched in place.4. The backpack is extremely comfortable for both me (five foot three inches tall) and my husband (five foot eleven). The straps are padded and the straps are easy to adjust.5. It comes with everything needed for a picnic for two people, including solid-quality plates, utensils, cloth napkins, plastic wine glasses, unfilled salt and pepper shakers, and a serving board (the plastic feels too thin for a cutting board). All but the glasses and shakers are organized in a zippered case that fits neatly into its own pocket inside the larger insulated compartment.6. The cups and shakers are housed in a bottle holder, but they can easily be moved to another location when the holder is needed.Cons:1. The front has a large zip down pocket with a lot of elastic straps that I assume are for something specific but for what, I don't know, since there are no instructions included. Although the pockets don't have to be used for what the designer intended, it would be nice to understand what that intent is, so I can choose to use it that way if desired.2. I wish the top cooler department had more structure. When it's empty, it flops around instead of remaining still, which can get annoying.3. There's unofficial room for expansion for additional people, but I wish the company had left genuine room, especially in the plate/utensil holder so that the items we add would be equally as convenient and protected.4. The corkscrew is the only item that looks and feels cheaply made. Fortunately, I have too many at home and can easily replace this one, but if you don't, you might want to get one. It's not comfortable to use and I question its longevity. The last thing a person wants is having it break while trying to use it!Overall, this is a great bag and well worth getting. Its design and comfort make it a convenient way to carry a picnic while hiking, going to the beach, or venturing into more remote areas. We'll get a lot of use out of it this summer.

I purchased this item for my granddaughter who graduated as a gift her and her boyfriend use it to go and picnics, and it is fantastic. All the items in there are high-quality and for the money it was the great value anyone who likes to picnic this would be a perfect thing. The top is a cooler, the bottom half holds all the cups and plates and silverware salt and pepper shakers it’s truly a good thing to give as a gift for someone else or even for yourself. I would definitely recommend it and if it had more than five stars, I would definitely read it even higher , hope anyone That needs to gift for someone else or for themselves. You will truly enjoy this.
