Great intermediate paddle! I can only speak from my own experience.I am a 3.5 - 4.0 active intermediate player who has purchased more than six different paddles in the last six years. I am not a novice. This Jojolemon paddle allows all aspects of play to thrive.SPIN: the surface texture of the paddle allows great friction for top spin, cuts, slices and dink spin that help confuse and require adjustment from defending players.CONTROL: the elongated handle provides great control for dinks, half speed shots that split the defense or controlled lobs. The face of the paddle is consistently solid, whether returning defensive shots from strong ground strokes or accurately placing overhead smashes.POWER: while the paddle has increased control and spin, there is no diminishing power on drive shots or serves.ALSO: the paddle comes with a very nice cover that includes a rubberized face cleaner for removing dirt in the surface texture of the paddle elongating life and control.I believe that for the price point, you would be hard-pressed at a strong intermediate level or possibly low 4.5 players to go wrong with this paddle.Highly recommend!
