PIAA silicone sure are expensive wiper blades... that is a completely true statement, but take into consideration that they work better than any other and last for years and years. I decided to take a look at them again should I need to reorder at some point. I've had mine in use since January 2019, and as far as I can tell they are going to last a while longer yet.

It's definitely a good quality wiper and lasts much longer than conventional rubber blades. However, the channel is blocked on one end which makes it difficult to slide into a normal frame. I assume this is designed to work only with PIAA brand frames, but aside from this blockage, it works with standard frames.

Fit fine. Some other brands gave too thick side metal rails to fit. Loved the two temporary plastic clips that keep the rails attached to the rubber as you slide it in

For my 2013 Mazda3 i Touring Hatchback: The 19" (passenger) PIAA refill which is 6mm wide fit fine. The 14" (rear window) PIAA refill which is 6mm wide fit fine although it was tricky getting the refill into the existing blade because of the stops at both ends of the blade to prevent the blade from sliding out. The 24" (driver) PIAA refill which is 8mm wide did not fit as the claws on existing blade were 6mm wide. I'm not sure which if any blades are original. I ended up getting a 24" Rain-X Expert Fit Conventional blade for $8.50 at Wal**** which is 8mm wide and the PIAA 24" refill fit great although it is 1/2" shorter. I don't know the width of the other length Rain-X Expert Fit Conventional blades so you'll want to check. I took a caliper to Wal**** so I could find the right blade to accept the PIAA refill. My advice: Measure your existing blades to determine whether they are 6mm or 8mm wide. Think about which refills will fit if at all considering the 24" and longer refills are 8mm wide while those shorter than 24" are 6mm. You might need to get a new blade whose width fits the PIAA refill width for the length you need. Consider cutting a longer refill to fit and possibly use the metal strips from your old blade in the new refill so you don't have to cut the metal strips.

These wipers are claimed to be 6mm in width, but they are slightly wider than a standard 6mm blade. So they will fit tightly in some applications. PIAA warns you about this on their website, but it would have been better if PIAA just made them the standard 6mm width and avoid the hassle. In general, I love PIAA Silicone blades and I've used them for years. They last forever and do a better job of wiping than just about any other brand of wiper blade. I deducted a star for this review because of the slightly-wider-than-normal issue mentioned above.PIAA's cheaper Carbon blades are good too, but not nearly as durable and clean-wiping as the Silicone. Buy the Silicone unless you absolutely have to save every penny.I'd buy these again despite the tight fit in my 2012 Scion xB rear window.

I have been using PIAA silicone wipers for years. The only reason I have had to buy new ones is because I replaced my vehicles. My VW had the same PIAA silicone wipers for 6 years and they worked well the entire time. I think the person that bought it still has the same wipers that I installed.

I purchased 3 blades from this manufacture and due to the 30 day replacement policy with amazon i was only able to return 1 of the 14" wiper blades and get a refund. This item was purchased in April and it is now the end of June. The manufacturer stated that the items were built to last. However the construction is what failed and I can now only get credit for 1 of the 2 blades. I hope the manufacturer would contact me and assist on this issue. The 28" blade I still have is functioning as is needed however, I do not know if it will hold up either? It has thus far so be aware future buyers. PS_ with the amount of rain we have received here in Texas this is a hazard. I am glad the larger blade has held up thus far just a bit weary.
