If all you need is a little boost for your turntable's sound, this will do the job, and it's a decent value. However, it is on the quiet end, and doesn't offer any ability to adjust the volume or gain. For less than $20, it's pretty much what you'd want, though I'd recommend looking in the $50-$100 range and get a pre-amp that has better sound and control, like the ART DJPreII or a Fosi tube style pre-amp.

For such an inexpensive component, it performs well and sounds great. I’ve only been running it in my system for a day, so if it fails or I run into trouble, I’ll edit this review.Clean and crisp sound. No noise. Easy to set up. The model with the on/off button is really convenient to use.I added some rubber feet. It doesn’t come with any.

Priced right, no bells and whistles, and does the job. It has revived my 40 year old turntable.I steered away from cheaper alternatives as many of those seemed to have issues with humming sounds. Not an issue with this model.

We needed a go between / amp for a turntable from the 1980s, a receiver from the 1980s and a modern day Bose portable Bluetooth speaker for our teen. This did the trick and she can listen to her vinyls. The turntable is hooked into the receiver, then the receiver to this amp and then the amp to the speaker using a double red white rca cable to single into the speaker. For $12 she has a decent set up with old equipment we already had.

Disappointed in this product because of a noticeable hum, it is annoying during soft musical passages.

Used to hook my 1974 Yamaha turntable to my modern Denon receiver.. worked perfectly! Nothing to compare it to, but without it it didn’t work

I wanted to connect my turntable to a Bose Solo speaker. This preamp was easy to hook up and works fine. I can imagine that a true audiophile is going to want more control over the balance and equalization of the sound. But for just being able to play vinyl where I want to, it fills the bill.
