This is a good product. I use it all the time. It has limitations, however. Be sure to check out how far the neck telescopes out. I like how it can maneuver the phone into any position you may need.

This stand is just right for a lot of things when you need a sturdy holder for your cell phone. I did have to make one improvement because the cell phone position I needed couldn't stay tight. So, I took it apart and tagged a tiny, round, dot of leather (about the thickness of a dime) between the ball end of the camera holder part and the part of the stand it rests on. When that wears out, I'll pick up an "O" ring of the right size to fit between the two parts and that will allow for secure tightening, while retaining a little 'springiness.'

I’m frustrated that it doesn’t work as well as I’d hoped. It’s particularly difficult to tighten the bolt which allows your phone to be held in place. I also tried adjusting the other locking points but can only achieve decent success. I’ve not given up in it, but get so frustrated with it that I revert back to using my phone on a glass.Save your money on this one & search for something better.

This product is very cheap, it will take a long time before your order arrives and you will need to pay for return (full Canada Post fee). Spare yourself, don’t bother.

This stand is very sturdy. I saw other reviews that said it wasn’t good, but I don’t know what they were talking about because this one is great! I use the Camera Lucida app (which incidentally predates Davinci Eye and is cheaper since it’s a one-time fee). It worked great with this stand!

So this stand is definitely nice, but there are a couple changes that could be made to make it better. The first being, the "legs" (the flat metal base) werent completely flat when i opened them to use. This honestly hasn't been a deal breaker because I guess the imbalance is so subtle that it doesn't tip over - its just not touching the surface all the way on all parts of base. The second thing, is a little bit more of a design flaw. When I attach my phone, it can only be held one way because of the buttons on the side of my phone. This means I have to attach my phone rotated upside down which makes all my videos upside down, so then I have to edit each one individually in order to view it properly. If I put the phone in the way it needs to be, it would be recording behind the stand, not my paper. I hope I'm not missing something, but that makes it not the most efficient. It definitely is worth it though if buying an intro stand or want an affordable one that doesn't feel cheap.
