All canvases are stretched firmly on the stretcher bars. The painting surface won't be loose or sagging. Strictly inspections will be done to each product to ensure they conform with our standards of tightness, evenness, straightness & dimension requirements.
DOES NOT CRUMBLE OR CRACK
PHOENIX stretched canvases are pre-gessoed with patented primer. The unique primer resists the direct touch between fabrics and oil from paints, extending the life of the artwork. The primer can penetrate into the canvas fabric and binds tightly to the fibers for better protection. The surface coating won't peel off by usage of water, linseed oil or other solvents. The coating ages at the same rate as the paint color. Artwork does not crumble or crack even after a long time.

I would encourage you to have the right expectations about quality so that you too, will get exactly what you need from these affordable little panels. These are very good, but not commercial deluxe quality suitable for high end art. Do not expect a deluxe canvas at this affordable of a price point. What you are ordering is a nice student-grade/standard stretcher bar thickness canvas for water-base paints - acrylic is perfect. Oil painting is not good with this type of canvas in my opinion. When these arrived, they were loose. This is NOT the only canvas company whose canvases relax during shipping, it can happen due to climate, but deluxe canvases never sag - usually only the affordable ones loosen up (probably because of the priming?). A loose stretch is fine for acrylics. You can wet the canvas down and it will tighten up, and you can paint on it right away. Loose stretches are not necessarily ok for oil paints - maybe you could wet it down and wait overnight to let it dry out, but I am not sure how firm the final stretch would feel. When I go to the effort of painting oils, I order a deluxe canvas. So if you order these, do make sure you are expecting an affordable quality.This is perfect for teaching wine and paint style painting classes, especially with the bulk number you get in each pack. Don't worry if it is a bit relaxed upon arrival, either you can wet it down before class, or you can have your students wet it down before they start painting and it will take out the sag. It's a good, solid choice for beginning/student/modest quality acrylics, which thankfully is exactly what I was looking for. They fit exactly what I needed and the quality was what I expected for the price. I will likely order these again for my next acrylic + wine fun evening painting courses as this is what they are perfect for. Also, these would be great for kids and other types of student/learning projects.

Me gusta su precio, y su tamaño es cómodo para ensayo y error, pero el grueso y el numero de hilos es demasiado pobre lo que hace que los trabajo finos sean difíciles sin utilizar gesso. Como que están pensados más para acrílico que para oleo.

I bought these for my grandchildren originally. I have no complaints in regards to the camvasses nor the paint. I have never used this brand of paint but will buy it again. The paint is a full body paint and the colors are vibrant! It is a great deal all around,. I highly recommend this set for beginners, children, and paint parties. Everything you need comes with except an easel.

Le produit n'est pas bien emballé donc il est arrivé légèrement abîmé. De plus, l'une des broches d'une toile est mal fixée donc elle ressort dans la toile. Sinon, le rapport qualité-prix est correct. Ce n'est pas la meilleure qualité, mais ça vaut son prix, si il arrive dans un meilleur emballage.
