I am pleased with the quality of this brand in general and have purchased a variety of canvases. These black primed panels are super handy for when you want to start with a black canvas. While they cost more than white panels, with the cost of a white panel and the black gesso - you might as well just buy it pre-primed black (not to mention time, hassle, and mess). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these. Very nice quality for the money.

I used these with stickers and paint. I did a negative effect with pointillism and it came out great. I used some neon colors but some regular and the paint showed up beautifully

i bought these to add to my white canvas collection that i am using to mount many of my watercolors on. after years of doing watercolors and then just hanging them up or putting them away, never to be seen again! LOL or just not having a path to being able to hang them and have then be secure... i recently went through a brief encaustic phase, during which i had the idea to mount and add to my watercolors, cover them then with wax or (now) mod podge (O:after trying to paint a white can vas a darker shade i got these and they are VERY nice!wish they were a little better priced, like the white ones, but oh well!i would buy them again, though the back is NOT blank, they have that box for all your info and i dont like that because i often dont look and mount my painting upside down, then i look like a fool (which i am not) ho ho
