These are very cute. The pre-drawn designs help the kiddos who might have creative block and can't think of what to do on their own. The canvases accept a variety of medium - we tried out colored pencils, crayons, markers, and acrylic paint. Each had its own unique look, but they all worked and showed up on the canvas. Be aware that the examples shown in the photos have taken artistic license. Some of my kiddos were upset (for example) that their panda didn't have rosy cheeks or that their crab wasn't shaded the same way. They didn't understand that they needed to add those details themselves.

These are incredible stencils for painting. They can be hung afterwards too!!! But it’s an easy art project for kids and adults. Great value. I highly recommend!

This is a set of a several, hard-backed canvases, with a variety of pre-drawn cartoon looking animals. This set of pre-drawn animals would possibly be helpful for a novice painter, or, motivate a younger painter more than than a seasoned painter. Possibly these pre- drawn canvases can aid a painter who is unable to draw well, or, possibly paint a variety of animals for a younger person's room's wall hangings. The possibilities can actually be limited less. The hard-backed canvases feel similar to an inexpensive set of similar hard-backed canvases. However, once the paint has been added to the canvas, the quality of the canvas doesn't seem to matter much (unless it will be sold in an art show or gallery.) For painters, who find drawing difficult or who are just learning how to draw, these pre-drawn, hard-backed canvases are not considered as "cheating" somehow because not all painters can draw well. The pre-drawn canvases only provide an environment for the painter to not experience stress over their limited drawing skills. Within this packet is a pre-colored sheet where each animal is fully colored; as this can be helpful for inspiration or possibly use the same/ similar colors that are being shown on the included sheet of pre-colored animals. I am pleased with not being concerned about whether or not my drawings will turn out distorted enough.

Our 6-year old daughter absolutely loves these. They are very good quality canvas boards and a good value for the set of 12. She’s used paint as well as markers to color them in. The designs are nice and hold her interest. She puts her name on the bottom when she’s finished! They are easy to hang with a small nail or screw.
