These work as advertised. Easy to put together and holds the weights with no issues. They are big, so measure your space before purchasing.

Deducting 1 star due to the frame coming slight bent and scratched. Thankfully this didn’t alter the integrity of the product. Put together it is very sturdy and heavy steel construction. This thing checked all the boxes and would recommend (without damage)

Look at the weight. It is nearly twice as heavy as some "budget" options here because it is heavy gauge . This is a similar heft to the more expensive weight trees, like Bells and Rogue, but at a price more like like light weight REP.It has a substantial foot print and is tall enough to hold full size plates on all three pegs at the same time. I wouldn't hesitate to load every spot to the fullest. The design reflects considerable effort. Check out how the tubes wrap around each other at the joints. The welded gussets on the upright. And, you can't even see this from the pics, but the upright bolts to the cross piece BOTH vertically and horizontally. While some competitors claim 800 lbs or whatever from 30lbs of steel that is barely bolted together, this thing will hold at least twice as much weight without complaint. Check out reviews of other products referencing wobble. Not going to happen here. There are plenty of nice details. They chose different bolt lengths to leave as little extra thread as possible. Black fasteners. Nylock nuts. Even carriage bolts in one spot to ease assembly. A plastic protector on the barbell holders so you don't scratch the sleeves. The finish quality is good for the price. I've seen nicer, more even powder coat. The welds aren't perfect. But, the threaded holes for the casters are nicer than I'd expect for an affordable import. There is one big "but" that renders any extra finishing effort a complete waste--the packaging is terrible. I hate dollars wasted on an "unboxing" experience, but the box should at least protect the product. Here, the pieces are basically just loose in little thin plastic bags. The outer box is so bad that even though my tree was brand new, the box had cardboard patches that I bet were applied at a warehouse. The unfortunate result is that mine has huge gashes in the powder coat and looks ugly from day one. I attached pics to show how it arrived BEFORE ASSEMBLY.Weights needn't be pretty, but I have a cheap rack that after being assembled, disassembled, thrown around a Jeep, thrown around a garage, and modified with power tools, still looks much nicer than this does out of the box. This thing is built to last multiple lifetimes. It wouldn't take much to pack it well. And if it looked pretty, it'd be worth twice what I paid in April of 2024.If this weren't the first review, I'd knock at least one star off for the terrible packing. But because this thing is so much more skookum than similarly-priced competitors--heavy commercial quality at a comparatively very low price--it deserves some attention. I just hope Philosophy fixes the packaging and pushes some social media so others can appreciate what a great deal this otherwise is!
