I am using this comfortable chair on my small deck at my townhouse! It’s east to fold and get out of the elements or take with me to other locations like the beach! It’s was well packed on arrival, and is worth the money in my opinion. It’s well made, too, and not too heavy. I would recommend!

After seeing this Phi Villa chair at my brothers house I decided to give it a try. I am a 100% disabled veteran with limited ability so I was a bit nervous of hopping into a chair that moves. However , once situated I found it extremely comfortable , easy to operate and no issues getting out of it.My conclusion ... i had to order one for myself.A week later I went on Amazon and clicked "buy now" As usual the delivery was fantastic thru USPS and Amazon. Once I opened the box ( that looked undamaged and didn't look repackaged ) I was surprised to see what I thought was minor damage turned out to be quite bad ... really unusable. My gut feeling is the distributor received this chair from the manufacturer already in the shipping box without being able to verify the condition before they had USPS pick it up .. that I am not positive of.My one star review is in no way in referring to the distributor Alfa Marts , USPS or Amazon. They all did a great job getting this delivered on time. The one star is simply for the chairs condition.I have asked my bother to take this to the transfer station to discard it.All said , this chair would have been amazing for me with limited disability ... so , when a few funds come available I will not hesitate to take another shot and purchase the recliner chair again. I love this chair! It is well made and very substantial! It is extremely comfortable, especially while I lay out and work on my tan. I find it very easy to lock in position. I like the side drink holder and I love how it is padded. My last zero gravity chair was not padded and this one is so much better!! I recently broke my foot and this is the perfect chair to elevate my foot in, sit back, relax and have a drink at my side. Amazing price and excellent chair!! I cannot recommend this enough.

When you’re reclined, your weight is evenly distributed and the full seat is suspended by bungee cords. It’s extremely comfortable. Perfect length, my feet just hit on the footrest, I’m 5’7”. The locks on the sides of mine don’t work. That doesn’t really matter bc it doesn’t freely swing. Reclining is controlled by pushing the armrests. It’s not the easiest to get up & out of. You basically have to start to fold it up to get out, it’s not pretty. But it’s very comfortable & cost alot less than the other chairs. The side tray is useless. The headrest is comfy & can be moved wherever you need a cushion or extra support.UPDATE: It seems the sliding action under the arms at frame & lock (see pic) were stuck where they slide back & forth reclining the seat separately from the frame, which has changed the whole experience of the chair. They must’ve worked themselves loose with use. Now very easy to get in & out of! Both locks work. The tray is usable since the seat slides freely & frame stays folded open separately but has to be removed to fold up to store. Still very comfortable. I love this chair! I bought it to watch games on tv outside so being able to move in & out with the fluctuation of the game is great. It’s supportive & firm-now that the kinks are all worked out. So if it will only recline when you open & close the whole frame & the locks don’t work, check the slide action under the arms.

I got this chair to replace those $20 plastic Adirondack chairs that are outside every supermarket/home improvement store in the spring. Which I use primarily when I work on my patio with the laptop- and was causing me some tailbone discomfort after sitting in them for hours. THIS IS AMAZING! The leaning back or the sitting up and in between offers many setups for use with a laptop. The pillow is great, the construction solid, and its easy to fold up and store.I have two problems with it which is why I have to minus one star. 1. The side tray is dismal. Does not attach properly at all (no instructions either). I'd have liked this side tray to hold drinks, but its 'attaches' using the wide 'v' angle of the chair sides. So by tension/gravity. Just not suitable - and if you put a drink on it, you are guaranteed to spill. 2. It's a little bit tricky to get into an out of. Maybe I'm just not coordinated the first few times I open it up, sit down, it kind of collapses the rest of the way open under my weight. If I leave it in a locked tip position, I want to put my legs in between the bottom bar and end of the fabric to sit back...which has led to some bruising on my shins. Really have to pay attention when sitting in it - can't be looking at the phone or carrying a bunch of stuff.
