This part was a perfect replacement for the preexisting plastic part that broke on my Lazy Boy Tripoli Recliner. The part that broke is now obsolete, this was a relatively simple replacement that works great.

The instructions were not that clear (I am 61year old woman and had never repaired a recliner) but after some trial and error, it works great! The metal construction is much better than the old plastic.

Instructions were vague and the photos were dark and not helpful.

Easy Install I lost one screw during install lucky I had a spare 1/4-20 Phillips. Number one issue: Mounting plate fastener holes too small. Looks like holes were machined at 15/64". Too small to clear the included 1/4-20 fasteners. Had to drill out all four holes with a 1/4-inch drill bit. Mount the toggle assembly in the parked position. Had to run out the actuator slightly for pin alignment. Nice feature with this manufacturer is the plastic bushings are split for easy install over the square rod. Plastic bushings are rather thin and stiff so I heated them slightly with a heat gun before install so as not to crack them during install. Remove the actuator by pulling that rear mounting pin. No need to disassemble the drive knuckle as I did not use the included clevis and rod slides right out of the way. I believe square hole in the toggle assy is purposely machined slightly oversize for movement/flexibility on the drive rod. See my pics parked and extended positions!

Replacement part is much stronger than the original equipment part. The chair now works perfectly.

I'm disabled, I tend to be hard on my things because I'm not always steady. I bought my La Z Boy recliner from our local Habitat for Humanity charity shop, so despite being "new" it didn't come with any sort of warranty. Over the past year or so I've heard some cracking sounds which turned out to be the plastic clevis mount and other parts that come standard on their power recliners. After doing some research I determined I'd broken this part, and went looking for a replacement. I was happy to find an all metal replacement for the plastic parts. The parts arrived quickly, they were well-machined and fit exactly how they were supposed to. While the repair itself took several hours, between the very helpful diagrams and instructions provided by this seller and some "how to repair" videos available on the internet my husband was able to get my chair repaired for a fraction of the cost of any replacement.

Parts arrived and when putting the plate on I found that the 4 Allen bolts would not fit through the plate. I had to use a drill to team out the holes so I could install the plate. Other than that the parts worked fine
