- Please don’t forget to wipe the ph / TDS tester with a clean and soft cloth when you have done before capping it again.
- Be careful with the glass probe since it may be a little fragile when you use.
- Please DO NOT use the soil meter to test any liquids directly such as pure water, lemon juice, vinegar and so on. This soil meter ONLY can be used in soil.
- Please DO NOT insert the soil meter into very hard soil or touch hard objects, which is very easy to damage the probes.
- Please DO NOT leave the probes of the soil meter inserted in soil longer than measurement time.

I needed an EC reader the most because I wanted to try the hydroponic planting, and it worked great. I was reading the directions for liquid plant food, which were too short. The EC reader told me so, and I added much more. I guess my tomato and pea plants are happy now.The green one has three measurements, and it's great to insert each pot quickly to see if they are good!Probably, the yellow pH reader isn't needed since it's duplicated by the green one, but it's good for more accurate reading. Make sure calibration is done.These are all must-have gadgets for gardeners, especially beginners like me.

My husband uses this to get the right level of feed for our veggie plants. It must work because the plants grow. It's easy to read and durable.

it was nice to get a cheap combo package for basic water test it does what it's supposed to .make sure calibration is confirmed before you use it and also keep your eye on it recalibrate if needed

I was about to toss this in the garbage because I followed the written calibration instructions and they don't work. Then I noticed there's a calibration chart with different instructions which do work. Do not follow the written instructions which tell you to hold the calibrate button in forever. Follow the chart for 1 point calibration that says to hold the calibrate button for 5 seconds and release.The proper method for pH calibration is to turn it on, immerse in the standard 6.86 pH solution for a couple minutes then hold the calibrate button for five seconds while immersed and release. Then wait for display to stop flashing. It should read 6.86.

The PH meter is solid unlike the Vivosun model that looks just like this It looks the same but its not, this is better built and stays accurate much longer.

I got this on time and undamaged. I am very disappointed. I thought rhe moisture meter was great but it kept telling me I was under watering. I put the meter in a vase of pure water and it told me my moisture was very low. Based on that I don't trust the PH level reading. Light meter part works.The ph meter never worked. It gave me a reading the first time I turned it on, then nothing. I tried to check the batteries but could not get the cap off. Finally I took some channel locks and pulled the cap off the battery compartment. I realized there was a lot of rust inside the unit. It took needle nose pliars to pull the batteries and I found one terminal corroded to the battery holder. The battery was leaking, corroded the connection and damaged the circuit board inside. See pics. It looks like a nice set but mine was a lemon.

Cheap but semi reliable; can get a reading after leaving for a while in solution but, so far re-calibrating every like 2 days.
