After researching how to change a kitchen faucet cartridge I finally found the confidence that I could actually do the process without calling a plumber. So I purchase the cartridge and the parts that were needed and began the job. The most difficult part was taking the old cartridge out of the faucet. It had needed to be replaced and there was a good amount of hard water and crud making the removal tedious. However, after following the directions on the box and from the original manual, the cartridge was installed. The faucet no longer leaks. The part came quickly through the mail and arrived in good shape

I’m lady who isn’t handy, but my landlord is slow and elderly and I didn’t want to wait forever to get my leaking sink fixed. I found a YouTube video of a guy using this kit to fix the same problem so I gave it a go. It was easy. Really! The hardest part is just keeping the little spring aligned at the end when you put it back together. I stuck it on with some plumbing grease to help with that part.It’s been a month and the sink is working great still. Totally worth the money and seriously only took about twenty minutes to fix. It replaced and fixed my bathroom faucet, a life saver! It was very easy to install, in no more than five minutes from start to finish! Just love it!!!!!

I had an older Pfister kitchen faucet that was leaking, so it was buy this or a new faucet. As I am remodeling the kitchen this year, it didn't make sense to buy a new faucet, so I went for this repair kit. It worked flawlessly, and even got my spray hose connection working (wasn't prior to installing this kit).I'm very happy with this quick fix until a new kitchen is installed. If you are happy with your faucet but just want it not to leak, this is your ticket.

This worked great for me! I couldn’t find those square o-rings anywhere so I figured I would try Amazon before ordering through pfister. Low and behold, they had the exact kit I needed. It even came with a replacement relay valve for the sprayer! It wasn’t broken or anything but I figured while it’s already apart... it also came with plumbers grease for the o-rings. Once installed, no more leaks and very easy to do. You have to make sure you get the right parts though!

The 974-035 cartridge and 941-711 retaining nut, fits older model#53350CC (533 genesis series pull out) as well.I am not a plumber but this is easy to install. The o ring and others does match the older model. If youu still have the plastic retaining nut then this kit is for you.Reduced the rating to 3 since after a week or so this new replacement catridge, doesn’t hold the weight of the lever well, in short it closes by itself at lower flow, so now you have to almost open the lever all the way up. So it has reduced range of water flow compared to original.
