This is the original old school Phan-stat spray. I use this for cleaning and dusting basically all my records, just mist with a few sprays and wipe gently with a microfiber cloth or eyeglass cloth until dry. It's amazing how much dirt this actually lifts from the grooves, helps old records sound more clear again, and seems to quiet down some of the scratchiness that old records get when they're dusty. Excellent value and works just as well, if not better than the more expensive products. I have cleaned over 100 with it and still have some left!I use it on new records as well to eliminate the static electricity ⚡

This stuff looks, smells, feels and cleans EXACTLY the same as the vintage D4 stuff (not the current stuff sold as D4, which is apparently completely different and inferior) so if you’re looking to refill your red Discwasher bottle, look no further. Amazing value, could probably fill 3 of those little red bottles with one bottle of this. Extremely happy!

Cleaned one side of old album, went to clean other and kept getting large drops after spraying dropping on leather couch, album center label, etc. I cleaned Lynyrd Skynyrd original One More From the Road and played beautifully. Wasn’t expecting that. 1976 album. The leaking bothered me, only 4 oz. bottle, need it on the record. Had to use a soft terry cloth to get most, then microfiber. Wouldn’t dry off with microfiber only. Glad to hear albums from early and late 70’s.

The Pfan-Stat record cleaning fluid is exactly what I needed. Not only cleans the record, but also eliminates any static. I live in a very low humidity location and subject to potential static build-up. No longer an issue (at least for playing vinyl) as this product does the job. I use it with a Discwasher brush. If you have static problems playing vinyl this is highly recommended.
