I honestly don't intend to use the poly fittings because I have so many brass fittings on hand. I purchased it for the crimper and rings, and those did not disappoint. Both the 1/2" and 3/4" rings crimped flawlessly. The cutter feels a little cheap, but I tested it on some pex and it made relatively straight cuts. I have a better one that I will stick with in my main plumbing kit, but it's nice to have a spare to throw in another toolbox or lend out.

This kit gives you a little bit of everything. From the cinch clamp tool to the pex cutter to the various clamps and fittings. A must have in your DIY arsenal. This is a great value for the money and easy to use. I highly recommend this starter set.

These are decent, not too bad if you have a small home job you need done real quick. and for the price, you really can't beat it. it's definitely a plus that the tools were working to my suprise.

Great price for what you get in this kit. Probably not professions grade for a full time plumber but makes for a great backup set or just to keep around the house for those emergency repairs that may pop up.The crimp tool itself is built well and the ratchet and release seems sturdy. There is no calibration tool though so not sure how many crimps can be done before the tool goes out of spec. Listing just says it is pre-calibrated. The 1/2” and 3/4” crimp rings look to be the same quality as others I’ve used in the past. I’m always skeptical of the plastic fittings and how well they will hold up to freeze/thaw situations and would always use brass fittings for permanent installs. Again, I would only use these for temporary or emergency repairs. Not sure why no 3/4” fittings were included but the rings were included.The pipe cutter tool is cheaply made but again will work great for occasional repairs or as a backup for the toolbox.Overall this crimp set is on the quality level of what a major import tool store sells in the US and there’s a lot of value here for the price.

I needed a more robust crimping tool for working with larger PEX pipes. This kit caught my eye on Amazon, and it seemed to have everything I needed.The kit includes a crimping tool, a cutting tool, a generous supply of clamps and plastic fittings. While the 1/2-inch clamps may not be as useful for my projects, the kit offers a good range of sizes. (It's worth noting that PEX pipe sizes refer to the outer diameter, while copper pipe sizes refer to the inner diameter. This seemingly arbitrary distinction can be quite confusing, but it probably helps justify those exorbitant plumber's bills.)The crimping tool itself is a significant upgrade from my previous one. The longer handles make the process much easier. I didn't use the included cutting tool, as I already have a preferred one, but it seems well-made.This kit provides all the essentials for tackling any PEX plumbing project. I'm ready to conquer any plumbing challenge that comes my way.
