If you climb routes that require an axe as well as a more technical tool, these weights are great for making the two swing more alike. A Sum'tec with the masselottes feels similar to a Quark without them, assuming both have the adze or the standard hammer. A Quark with the mini hammer and masselottes feels heavier than a Quark with the standard hammer but no masselottes.The weights fit perfectly on both the Ice and Pur'Ice picks. I haven't tried them on other picks.
