I bought this as an upgrade from the flimsy plastic scooper I was using. When I first got this one, I couldn't believe how heavy it was. After a few days I didn't even notice the weight anymore. I was just so used to using a plastic one. This new one is a great quality. It's sturdy and it gets the job done. You can easily scoop up anything, even when there is pee stuck to the litter box. My old plastic one did not fair well with situations like that. I also like that this metal scooper is more sanitary. It doesn't get anything stuck to it like the plastic ones do and it is very easy to clean, unlike the plastic scoopers. Do yourself a favor and buy it! Like I said, if you are used to a plastic scooper, this one will feel so heavy at first. Give it a couple days and you won't even notice the weight. It will feel sturdy instead of heavy.

This kitty litter scoop is the nicest, yet strongest scoop I've ever had! It actually makes scooping the kitty pan enjoyable. It's hefty design is sure to last for a very long time. It also works so well, nothing leaks out when transferring the poop or pee from the cat pan. I don't think I will ever have to buy another one!

This is the closest thing to a sturdy garden tool that I've used yet and I love it. Most litter scoops are flexible and feel weak. This thing is solid with a great rubber handle.I do wish the shank didn't stop 2/3rds of the way through the actual handle, leaving the last 1/3 of the handle feeling soft, like the rubber might pull off. Just make it continuous till the end for a complete solid feel.I originally thought the slots in the scoop were too wide, allowing too much litter to fall through but it hasn't been an issue at all.Great product and cheap!Update after 3 years of use.Tonight I just used it and thought, I should go write a review (I maybe review 5% of my purchases) because I love this thing. I totally forgot that I already wrote one after I bought it because I liked it so much. So here’s my update.This thing is amazing. No kidding, it feels brand new. It’s super strong, comfortable and the amount it scoops is very satisfying. It’s got a nice deep shape to it and it’s almost like ASMR sifting the sh*** with this tool. We use standard unscented clumping cat litter.BUY THIS THANG! you won’t be sad.

What's the scoop on this metal scooper?WELL. My cat notoriously takes massive dumps (don't worry, she's fine) and I've snapped three plastic scoopers.I thought this time, I'd better go for something stronger, larger and able to stand against the massive mounds of my feline friend. So far, after about two months, nothing has stood a chance against this scooper. Also what's great is that unlike the cheap plastic scoopers, the outer surface stays clean, shiny and strong; it doesn't scrape/scratch down or buff away like the plastic scoopers do. Easy to clean, and comfortable to hold, this scooper is a litter box game changer. It makes me look forward to the daily scoop. The large cup makes it a faster task and allows me to get on with my other daily chores!

After going through countless plastic poop scoops, this steel scoop was a pleasant surprise. Build quality is superb, very sturdy. The scoop is of a large size, which should be noted.The holes on the scoop's head are big enough to let dry litter fall through but small enough to catch any poop or clumped litter, perfect.I can't see there ever being the need to replace this scoop, I'm very happy with this product.
