Very happy with this purchase. These houses are sturdy, heavy duty, snap together easily, are very easy to clean, are very roomy for stray cats, and will hold up well for years. That being said, they are not perfect: 1) They are not insulated. You will have to add some sort of insulation if you are buying these for ferals or strays who live outdoors in the winter. I easily insulated ours with glued on Reflectix foil insulation and thick beds of straw. 2) It stormed last night and we found out the hard way that these houses are not waterproof. You will have to either seal up the vents ( not ideal for summer use) or place them undercover. The houses currently selling for $39.99 fit perfectly into heavy duty contractor trash bags which add a little bit more insulation and make them totally waterproof. We received 4 or these houses for the price we paid for 1 of the fancier wooden ones and I have no doubt that these plastic houses will outlive our wooden houses by decades. I would definitely recommend these houses to everyone with the added tweaks mentioned above.

First off, I love the fact that this is made in the USA. I liked it so much that I ordered 4,so each cat had their own. Yes I ordered it for cats, but these little houses are pretty thick and durable, so they would do well for a dog as well. If I do get a dog depending on what size dog I get I’m going to get another one of these big enough for the dog I choose. I like how there is a little overhang over the door, because that helps prevent water dripping inside.

Bought this for an outside cat that adopted us years ago. Got it to keep her out of the weather. Mostly from the rain. We live in South Florida where the weather is pretty nice year round. The cat loves her new house. A lot of the reviews said that the top does not click shut properly and that was the case with ours as well. We put the top on backwards to give the cat two entries or escapes. My husband drilled a couple small holes and zip tied the top down. Other than that the pet house is very sturdy.

This is a great shelter for the feral cats that hang around. It's been cold and rainy this past month and they LOVE this igloo! It's durable, definitely more weatherproof than previous shelters I've purchased, and I think it will last longer than a wooden shelter. It is pricey, but worth it. Since more cats keep showing up, I'll have to save up for another one. As an added bonus, I could assemble it quickly and easily!

I got this for some stray feral cats to have something warm during the winter months here in the Northeast. I decided to insulate it with some insulated bubble wrap I bought here on Amazon. I just lined the top, bottom and sides and taped it down with duct tape. Additionally, I put a Mylar blanket inside and put a warm fleece blanket on top of that with some straw, as well. I also, flipped the door around by putting the top on backwards, so that there are two exists. That way a cat has an escape route in case another animal goes inside the shelter. I then set it on top of two blocks with a plastic tote lid underneath the house, to keep it off the ground. I did notice that it needed something to cover the door a bit to help keep the wind out. So, I bought some plastic door flaps. I then stuck a heavy rock on top as an added safety measure, to keep the house from blowing over on really windy days. I currently have a couple of feral cats that are now using it to stay out of the elements. I may even get a heated outdoor cat bed to put inside as well.This was super easy to assemble, as there are only two pieces to snap together. It’s attractive and very sturdy. It makes a wonderful cat house shelter. Totally recommend!

Perfect small but very solid doghouse for our little Miley (approx 12-15lb wire haired terrier mix). Comes in two sturdy plastic pieces- all you need are some scissors to cut the zip ties holding them nested together for shipping. Then you flip the roof piece and pop it into place. Tossed a blanket inside and our little dog took to it immediately. 10/10 would buy again.

La casita llegò en tiempo y forma, venia muy bien empacada y el armado fue facil, se ve de muy buena calidad, protege muy bien a mis mascotas de la lluvia, ah pasado ya por varias tormentas, cuidar que la entrada quede resguardada porque de otra manera se puede inundar si la lluvia le cae en direccion hacia adentro.
