About this item

  • ✅ BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE. Are you concerned about your pet's quality of life? Outward signs of discomfort and stress can have a devastating impact on our pet family. We're here to help.
  • ✅ PHOSPATE BINDER. Helps bind dietary phosphates for elimination through the bowels (in the stool), rather than excretion through the kidneys (in the urine). High serum phosphate levels may contribute to kidney dysfunction.
  • ✅ CHITOSAN. Studies have shown that chitosan can bind phosphorus in amounts comparable to prescription binders and may provide a non-calcium phosphorus binder alternative.
  • ✅ PROBIOTICS. Probiotics have a beneficial effect upon kidney health as well as maintaining healthy digestion and immune function. They also support maintenance of normal blood urea to help avoid build up of uremic toxins.
  • ✅ VETERINARIAN-FORMULATED. MADE IN USA. MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE. TRUSTED CARE SINCE 2001. Developed by our caring, in-house holistic veterinarians with your pet's health and wellbeing in mind. All of our vet-created supplements are manufactured in the USA in FDA-registered, GMP-certified facilities. Made with only the highest quality ingredients and tested for purity.

My dog has been suffering from kidney problems, she was constantly urinating and in obvious discomfort. There was a lot of mineral imbalance in her blood due to high phosphorus levels, and I hoped this product would bind them so she'd feel better. I decided to give this product a try, and it has been amazing for her well-being so far. Before giving anything to her, I always do a lot of research and background checks to ensure my dog is getting the safest option and I understand what I'm feeding her. This product checked all the boxes - all the listed ingredients were proven to be effective, especially the main ingredient, chitosan. I've also looked at the other ingredients, some of which I've had past experience with. They support the immune system and offer other benefits such as probiotics and prebiotics. Overall, a good selection of ingredients that I have no doubts about giving to my dog. I will only give her the highest-quality care. The powder is also easy to mix with her kibble, and she eats it with no resistance. For reference, she's an extremely picky eater and refuses many supplements, powders, or food that I give her. I'm very surprised and had expected lots of struggle to get her to eat it. I just sprinkle the right amount onto her food. Easy and simple.Throughout the time she's been on it, there have been no complications. I've noticed that she seems a lot happier and energetic as well. Usually, she tends to rest a lot or reject playtime because of her kidney issues. I'm so glad that I gave this product a chance. My dog's condition has improved and I am happy dog parents now.

Not sure if it's working. Our cat likes it but this is going to take a few more weeks.

So I have a cat with kidney issues, and I gave this to him before he started his prescription cat food. He ate it once but after that he didn't want to eat it anymore. I don't know if it's something to do with it not being fresh or if this is how it's supposed to smell, but it has a old sort of rancid smell, it doesn't smell like food or anything edible - it smells like something's wrong with it. I haven't given it to him since and I don't plan on using it anymore. I wish I knew if the smell was normal or if something was wrong with the batch I received, but I don't want to order a second one to find out. Sadly, I won't be using this, which is unfortunate given the price of it.

Are you worried about your pet’s quality of life? I was too, until I discovered Pet Wellbeing Core Kidney Care.First off, let’s talk about the star ingredient: Chitosan. This stuff is amazing! It helps bind dietary phosphates, eliminating them through the bowels rather than the kidneys. This is a big deal because high phosphate levels can contribute to kidney dysfunction. And guess what? Chitosan binds phosphorus just as well as prescription binders, but without the calcium. But that’s not all. This magic powder is packed with Probiotics. These little helpers not only boost kidney health but also maintain healthy digestion and immune function. They even support normal blood urea levels, helping to prevent the buildup of uremic toxins. Talk about a multi-tasker!Now, let’s not forget about the Alfalfa Powder. It’s a fantastic source of nutrients, including eight amino acids, chlorophyll, vitamins (A, D, E, & K), and minerals. This ensures your pet gets a well-rounded supplement to support their overall health. And of course, there’s Reishi. Known for its kidney-protective benefits, Reishi also supports a healthy response to stress. With all these powerful ingredients, it’s no wonder Loki’s looking and feeling better than ever!Pet Wellbeing Core Kidney Care is veterinarian-formulated and made in the USA. It’s produced in FDA-registered, GMP-certified facilities, ensuring top-notch quality and purity. Plus, they offer a money-back guarantee, so there’s no risk in giving it a try.So, if you’re looking to boost your pet’s kidney health and overall well-being, give Pet Wellbeing Core Kidney Care a shot.I did research on the ingredients—Chitosan, FOS (Fructooligosaccharides), Alfalfa Powder, and Reishi—they're all safe and beneficial for both dogs and cats. So, your feline friends can enjoy the benefits just as much as your canine companions. My Rating System Explained:⭐️ 1 star - Unfortunately, this product falls short of expectations due to its poor quality. I cannot recommend it.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - While there are aspects to appreciate, the product suffers from significant drawbacks or is priced too steeply for its value. It's difficult to recommend.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - This product is adequate; it presents some issues but generally meets basic standards of quality. It's a reasonable option for those willing to overlook its flaws.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - A commendable product that delivers on its promises. It provides a satisfying experience and is worthy of consideration.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - An exceptional product that exceeds expectations. It offers outstanding quality and value, making it a top recommendation.

I have two cats. They are picky eaters.I mixed just a pinch in each cat's wet food (their favorite). One cat wouldn't touch her food. The other cat ate hers. So, if your cat will eat it, it's probably good for them (at least that's what my vet says).

It's a very fine powder, and it comes with a tiny scoop, but it may be deep inside the jar so you need to look for it, it's there. One of out kitties is always thirsty and drink a lot of water and pee a lot too. So I tried this formula to see if it has any effect on him. This is not a medicine, it's a supplement so it'll take a while to see any changes.First, I put one scoop over dry food, and he smelled and noticed it and didn't eat at all. Even though it says pets won't notice, some do. In that case, it'll be better to mix it with soft food or creamy treats. Our kitty loves creamy treat so I mixed it a little, and he did licked the whole thing. So it works. The ingredients such as Chitosan and Reishi are also well known to be effective for humans too and they are relatively expensive so the price put for this product makes sense. Male kitties are more prone to kidney disorders, so this will be a great preventative supplement for our kitty as well.

This Pet Wellbeing phosphorus binder seems to be of good enough quality. As far as I can tell, Pet Wellbeing products are not made in China and the company is based in Canada and the U.S. I sprinkle it on top of my cat's canned food and mix it in. She eats it with no problem. However, I'm a little concerned about the alfalfa powder in this. The product description mentions alfalfa powder with its supply of vitamins A, D, E and K. Vitamin A, E and K can build up in the body and become toxic to someone with kidney disease since the kidneys can't properly filter those vitamins. At least, that's how it is for humans (both me and my cat have kidney disease). I imagine the build-up of those vitamins can occur in kidney diseased cats as well so that has me concerned and needing to consult with a vet about this phosphorus binder before I administer any more of this to my sweet kitty. But for now, I give this product four stars because it's easy to use, the company seems reputable enough and my cat doesn't seem to mind the taste when it's in her food.Just be careful with the alfalfa powder. I recommend consulting with a vet before using.

The Pet Wellbeing Core Kidney Care for Cats & Dogs, seems to be fine with our cat. He eats it right up with no problems at all. The taste must be good because he will not eat anything he doesn't like. Easy to use scoop and we believe helpful. We want to be sure he doesn't get any struggles with his kidneys since he is aging. Hoping that this helps. It seems to have a lot of natural ingredients.

I’m hesitant to order products such as this from Amazon but because inn familiar with this product and its origins I decided to give it a try. It’s actually the same price as ordering from the manufacturer but you won’t get the same frequent buyer discounts. You will however get fast delivery. FYI I wouldn’t recommend just using this product on your cat without having a senior blood panel done. My senior cats are having a few age related issues and I believe this product is helping them overall.

This Pet Wellbeing Core Kidney Care has been well-received by one of my two cats who, I was told, had weak kidneys (something all cat parents know is common). For my pickier eater, I found it best to mix it with her favourite treat rather than her dinner, which seems to be more enticing. This is fairly typical with cats, as they can be quite particular about food. My advice is to blend the powder with something your cat finds irresistible.Though a bit on the pricey side, this supplement contains Chitosan, a phosphate binder aimed at easing the kidneys' workload by removing excess phosphates through the digestive tract. It also includes probiotics for digestive support, alfalfa powder, and reishi mushroom—ingredients known for supporting immune health. I’m pleased to have found a product that, I hope, may delay the need for vet-prescribed diets for my cats later on.One consideration is the texture: the powder is very fine and tends to clump, so it can be a bit tricky to mix smoothly into food. Be cautious when sprinkling it over meals, but I don’t see this as a major drawback.Of course, the real measure of its success will come from my cats' yearly health tests, but so far, it appears to be working well, so I’m optimistic. Since my cats have weak kidneys but not renal disease, this supplement seemed like a good preventive measure. If your pet has more serious kidney issues, it might be a good idea to consult your vet before introducing new supplements.
