My cavapoo has sensitive skin and likes to scratch herself all the time. Although her skin is not broken and it is not serious, it makes me anxious. I have been thinking of various ways to help her alleviate this problem, so I bought this. This is the most impressive product I have tried. It keeps the dog's skin and hair soft, moisturized and fragrant for several days. I can feel that she is more comfortable, which really reduces her desire to scratch herself.

My dog itches and scratches, so this helps soothe my dogs skin. It also helps to keep his hair (poodle) from tangling and easy to brush after his bath. He smells really good to, and its almost like he feels extra special after his baths when we use this product.

This conditioner is fantastic for our yorkie! I do rinse it off lightly after letting it sit for a bit after shampooing him. Although it says leave in I feel it is too heavy to leave on.

Two of the nice features of this conditioning rinse is #1 you don't have to rinse it out once you've put it on your dog after shampooing - it's a leave-in conditioner. This is a time saver for us since we have a big old english sheepdog! We work it into his fur & skin real well before we start to blow dry him dry. It smells good too! #2 it can be used topically (as a lotion) in between bath time, we apply a little to his irritated skin, often the redness/rash goes a way. We are happy with this product, his itching is less & his irritated skin is much improved! Best to buy both shampoo & this rinse.

We used this along with the Enzymatic Shampoo on our cat that has allergic dermatitis. We had amazing success in healing her skin that was chewed raw and hairless. After bathing her with the shampoo, we applied the Rinse and left it on to air dry. The overall length of treatment was 4 weeks. The first week we applied the Rinse directly to her sores 2 to 3 times daily and rubbed gently. Over the next three weeks, we applied once every few days. During the full treatment, we did not shampoo again and continued to apply only the Rinse to her dry skin. The Rinse dries soft and did not create matting on my short haired cat.Her skin began to heal rapidly over the first week and within the first 2 days the patches started to heal over and form a smooth, shiny skin cover (not crusty scabs) that was supple and soft. She did not chew or scratch at the direct application of the Rinse and had no adverse or allergic reactions at all. By the end of the 4th week, her hair was fully grown in and completely healed.The Rinse has a fresh clean scent that will linger on both your animal and your hands. I decided to use gloves after the first day would suggest using gloves while applying. I don't dislike the scent, but it was a bit cloying for my own sensitive nose. The scent is similar to what groomers use as their finishing 'perfume'. However, my review remains at 5 stars because of the impressive results and not wanting my personal scent preference to detract from the actual performance of the product.As a maintenance treatment, we often use just the Rinse to address hot spots and it has worked to offer quick relief from the itching and promote healing before the irritations turn into full sores.I am fully satisfied with the Rinse, will continue to use it and recommend it highly.

Un must dans la trousse de bobologie de tous les chiens allergiques, des bulldogs (pour les plis).... En plus, il sent incroyablement bon !

I'm going to use this review for both the shampoo and conditioner as I purchased both at the same time. I decided to try this because I have used the zymox ear solution for my lab mix for about a year now with fantastic results.I have a black lab mix with some pretty severe skin conditions. If you own a lab you know, the vet isn't always the best option when it comes to allergies and ear infections. Not only would you be in there every month for something new (and spend a freakin' fortune) eventually the antibiotics would stop working making the problems even worse. 2 years ago I switched his food to grain free. That has helped some but it wasn't the be all end all to his skin issues.So he's allergic to grass and pollen. And fleas. The thing with flea meds is that I can use them until I can't. The fall is the worst. He goes outside and gets bit with the flea meds on and starts to itch and chew. Eventually he has open wounds all over his body at which point I don't feel comfortable putting chemicals on him. I worry that it will get into his blood stream, and so I stop with the chemicals. I have to physically stop him from chewing by putting a cone on him. I use cortisone cream and sometimes calamine lotion. Oh and he takes claritin year round at the vets suggestion.Anyway I decided to give this a try since I've had amazing results with their ear solution.On the 21st I bathed him with the shampoo and patted him dry. I applied the conditioner as a lotion per instructions on the bottle. He had so many bald scabbed over patches. His entire belly was bald and red and inflamed. Behind his ears and his butt, even his legs. He was so miserable. You guys, while I was putting the lotion on I could almost hear him thanking me. He was so grateful it broke my heart. I rubbed it into the bad spots really good.On the 22nd I rubbed more conditioner into his bad spots. Lots of scabbed came off. It was disgusting, but again he seemed so relived as I was applying it. He was still itching and chewing that day but it was a little bit less. It gave me a little hope that this might work for us.Today, the 23rd, I just got done applying more conditioner to his bad spots. He laid down on his side while I was getting his belly. He softly wagged his tail the entire time. I'm convinced he knows that this is helping his 'itchies.' A lot of the redness has abated. He's chewing and scratching a lot less. Fewer scabs fell off this time too. I wasn't planning on this working so quickly. I was going to give it 2 full weeks before I started to expect results. I'm just in awe. I really am.Please try this. Your dog will be so thankful. Zymox is a brand I will purchase without question from now on. If they have a product for what ails my dog, I will try it. And I won't try it hopefully. I will try it expectantly because all 3 of their products I have used have literally changed my life and bettered my dogs quality of life. I am really grateful to this company and their products. And yeah, that's sappy as all hell. But if you're reading this you know the heartbreak of having a miserable dog who looks to you for help. Being able to help him means so much to me.
