Best undercoat brush I have ever used. Well worth the price. I was shocked what I was able to remove. Slight hair pull with mattes fur but glides like a champ otherwise.

This gets the shedded undercoat fur that the other expensive fur removers don't get. Sometimes I use it against the fur growth, too. I love it... my long-haired cat and dog say "Not this again," lol.

Pulled loads of fur off my yellow lab. Looks like she lost 5 lbs in a few minutes. Worked great to get rid of most of the under coat and kept the extra hair out of my drain. Though not magical, it did a good job at smoothing and reducing some of the over load or shedding fur.

I was skeptical about it getting matts out and how painful it would be for my long haired cat, but it worked great! My cat goes through a shedding period in September and I keep on top of her grooming but discovered a huge matt on her back near her leg and tail. She wouldn’t let me touch it, she let me briefly skim my hand over it. I tried to cut it out, unsuccessfully, so I ordered this brush. First I got her accustomed to it with a lickable Churu treat, and it works wonders getting her undercoat out! Then I combed through the matted fur with a bristle brush to loosen it. Finally I tugged at the matt with this brush and it worked! It is great for pulling out the matts and little knots in her fur. It seemed to bother her slightly but the treat helped distract her. Good product!

I have all sorts of combs and brushes for my cats and dog but to get out mats this is the bomb. The only thing I don’t have are slicker brushes because they’re painful, if you don’t agree I suggest you run one over your arm and see how you like it.I have several furminators, curry combs, brushes, and nothing was working on my cat with medium length silky fur so back to Amazon I went, looking for something new. This is the greatest thing for mats I’ve ever used. Within 5 minutes all ChloeCats mats were removed and she was purring and begging for more brushing. When I tried the items I already had she squirmed and clawed her way free before any mats were removed, SHE LOVED THIS TOOL! I was hesitant to order it thinking the blades would be like razors but the part that touches the cat or that you can press on with your fingers are dull. The inner curve may be sharp I can’t tell for sure but it doesn’t matter becsuse it doesn’t touch your cat in a way that could injure her/him, or you. Great item, couldn’t be more pleased.

We have a very hairy Australian Shepherd, and her hind end and legs get thick matted hair. I havent had any luck with any of the brushes I have tried. I always end up cutting a lot of her hair away. I tried the comb, and immediately noticed how nicely it combed out the matted hair. Even on her back, it took the undercoat, but not the top coat of hair off. It is a rough tool, and I recommend using it very slowly and gently. I wouldnt even use it on regular hair that can be brushed nicely with any dog brush. This is designed specifically for matted hair. It does pull some, so go slow. It will do the job without putting pressure on it. You want to be careful not to pull your pups hair too hard. This model does not have a hair release button, but is easy to clean hair off of. This is only for thick haired dogs.
