  • Ensure the surface is sound, clean, dry, free of dust, grease, and rust. Sprinkle with water above 32°F for better adhesion.

  • The can should be at room temperature, ideally +68°F, achieved by adjusting with cold/warm water or leaving it at room temp for 24 hours.

  • Wear gloves, shake the can, attach it to the applicator, use upside down, and moisten surface for better adherence. Fill vertical gaps bottom-up without overfilling.

  • Once hardened, protect the foam from UV light using plaster or paint. Use the entire can at once, pausing no more than 5 minutes to prevent drying in the applicator.

  • Use Sprayman Foam Cleaner for uncured, fresh foam. Once cured, the foam can only be removed mechanically with effort.

Don't expect much. I thought this was similar to other expanding foams. It is not. It does not expand much, nor does it fill in gaps well. There's hardly anything in the cans and it took me both canisters to barely fill in a 12x6 hole in my attic crawl space. Better off with regular expanding foam spray and a bar of Irish Spring soap or cayenne pepper to keep critters out.
Rocks!

I wish I read the reviews! I usually do but for some reason I didn't. The people who installed my dishwasher were kind enough to use this spray that I bought. The smell is awful! It's so bad and so strong it's making me feel nauseated. I can't be in my kitchen and the inside of my dishwasher stinks. This is so awful it's making me cry writing this. I think I have to hire someone to come and try to get it out. I am angry with myself for not reading reviews. Please don't buy this and go through what I'm going through.Update: I hired the same plumber who installed the dishwasher (and foam) to come remove the foam. The work order is the same as the original, install dishwasher. The dishwasher has to come out to cut the foam out. So, I'm sure it will be expensive. They can't come for 4 more days. 4 more days...Update: The plumber came out yesterday and removed the foam. He said he felt nauseated and like he wanted to vomit while doing it. I aired out my house for a long time (it's cold here), burned candles, put out vinegar and baking soda, and wiped down the cabinet with 409 all in the last 24 hours. The smell is still horrible and it permeated the cabinets next to the one cabinet under the sink that it was in which is of course next to the dishwasher where the rest of the foam was. This morning I bought charcoal pouches and paint that is supposed to block odor. My brother has an ozone air purifier I'm going to go pick up. I don't want to call Servpro yet because I imagine their fix will be truly extreme. They're on my list tho if I can't get rid of the smell. I am angry, sad, frustrated, and scared I won't be able to get rid of the smell. The company offered a full refund. I accepted it because why not. I'd prefer they pay all of my expenses but that's a bridge not yet crossed. I'm nauseated and my head hurts. This is awful. What a shame all those Vine reviewers. I no longer trust Vine reviews.Update: 2 days after foam removal and many attempts to remove horrible smell. Today I cleaned, again, the kitchen sink cabinet where foam was and then painted entire cabinet with Kilz 2. The house is airing out with doors and windows open and heat off. Oh, it's 20 degrees here right now. I am so sad. Fingers crossed. I'll let you know.

This stuff worked great, though I'd suggest wearing disposable gloves when applying it. It goes into crevices very, very gooey and sticky, but dries quite hard and firm. As it smells like mothballs, no creatures are keen to nibble at it to gain re-entry. Very, very effective!

I like how easy it is to use. It does come out fast and expands, so my suggestion is to not squeeze hard when applying.

This product is easy to use and sets up strong; however, if you are planning to purchase this product but do not plan to use the entire can during the initial use, then be sure to purchase the hose cleaning system. Once the foam sets up in the tube it is not coming out easily. With the cleaning system you can use the same can repeatedly.

Man, this stuff smells really bad! if I don't like it, I imagine the mice will hate this stuff. Smells strongly of moth balls.I don't know what I was expecting, but once I sealed up some cracks outside of my home of what I assumed lead into my (finished) basement area; the smell managed to get inside of my basement as well. I honestly didn't think I was sealing up a crack that went right into my home! But again, I don't know what I was expecting...Tried to stay down there for a couple hours; an air filter seemed to help a little, but I noticed my mouth started to salivate more being in presence with this stuff. I hope it off-gasses eventually... I might leave the air filter down there for a few days and see if it helps. Sprayed on 11/25/2024. I will try to update this review if it gets better or stays bad...

Great product. Easy to use. Used for cracks and holes due to mice coming into our house. The only thing that would say is that the smell can linger for quite some time. I turned on the ceiling fan and left the door open in my patio to air out and when i went out there acouple hours later, the smell is slightly still there. Other than that, i have no issues with it
