My guinea pigs got on top of these and they flattened down. The wire that is inside it very thin. Read description.

Any Guinea pig mom knows that a lot of options are key for happy wheels!! so although this item doesn’t provide a stationary or stable tunnel or structure it does create activity. My piggies (we have a lovely herd of 9 cavies) are able to toss their heads under it and then walk on it and be in control without chance of injury. So although not what I expected it is still a great addition. Quality of materials is good too.

My Guinea pigs love these… I found an alternative use for them… turned them into little sleeping bags… turn them inside out and place a small pad inside and there ya have a sleeping bag…

I like the softness but it does have a smell when they first arrive. Washes fine when you take the wire out. The wire mesh on the inside is very thin and the edges have hot glue to prevent any pokes but the glue isn’t stuck on very well and feels kind of cheap. The wire comes out so you can wash the fabric which is good but its hard to get it out that first time so it takes a few minutes. When i put the wire back in and gave it to my guinea pigs, they trampled it easily and it did not keep its shape. So, because I had four wire sheets for four of the foldable houses, and only used 2 at a time, I just put two of the wire things in each foldable house. This worked better and they still smush under the guinea pigs but it does bounce back into its shape okay. The size is good, it forms a good size tunnel. Brown, white, pink, and blue fabric. The bottom is white. It looks cute. But feels cheap. Fix it by putting 2 wires inside!!!!

I was a little unsure with mixed ratings and so few so adding in my feedback for those thinking about a purchase. These were perfect for our Guinea Pigs that love tunnels and snuggling. Some reviewers said these don't stand up but here is a great trick. Everything is flexible on it so we bend the ends like platform feet and they don't fall. We have a guinea dad liner in our cage and we invert one of the bent platforms to tuck it under the edge of the liner then our piggies can play and it does not shift. Easy to wash but take the mesh out first it goes back in easier than it looks. One of the best purchases for our piggies.

While I really like the concept of these foldable hideouts, the inner frame just isn’t strong enough to support most of the shapes shown. I tried all the shapes on the seller’s pictures but my guinea pigs knocked all of them over within seconds without even climbing on the hideout. The shapes that they couldn’t knock over were a triangle where the hideout formed all 3 sides (including the bottom) and a complete circle (again, with the hideout on the bottom too).The inner frame is just thin wire mesh like what you’d use around a garden. I give the seller credit though because all the sharp points are covered in what looks like hot glue. It’s really nice that you can remove the frame and wash the covers, which are very soft. It takes some pushing and pulling to put the frame back in but it is doable, and much better than hand washing a tunnel.My guinea pigs still like these hideouts but the frames are just too easy to bend. Don’t expect to achieve a lot of different shapes.

This is a fantastic 4 piece set for your small fur baby. There’s a ton of different ways you can create different shapes. Each piece unzips, so you can take out the insert so you would be able to wash the fabric casing. Between my guinea pigs and my rehab squirrels, they’re going to go crazy over this 4 piece! I highly recommend this
