This gasket maker is amazing! I used on a few parts for my fresh built prelude and let me tell you, you need this stuff. The seals so damn good, that once it cures, you gonna have trouble taking it off, which is what you want. I literal fought my oil pan for a few hours trying to remove it, take it from me, it really seals and does what it is made to do. Great product, and the price is even better. I’ll take this over Hondabond RTV any day, tried and true!

This was referenced to me by Robin Renzetti- a well known machinist- for use with bonding neoprene covers on machinery to metal fixtures. It is very strong- much more so than standard RTV silicones. And, it is effectively immune to oils/solvents I use in normal work with machinery. I have used it to patch small leaks in pool (plastic) components on the pressure side, where it is under water, seeing a lot of flow, chlorine etc. Trick to help this last is to dispense it on opening into smaller devices (I use standard 5-10cc syringes with plastic caps). Just fill them from the back 50-80% of the way, insert the plunger, and actuate until you have no air remaining. Absent air (humidity), it will stay in good shape a while. I put it in ziplocks in the fridge and it is stable for months- vs seeing the tube more or less killed in one use if you just open it and after use put the cap back on. Breaking it down into 5-10cc portions makes it much easier to use, and more cost effective.

I had a very slow oil leak that was dripping from a small gash on the top of one of my valve covers. Structurally it's fine but it would push a few drops a day through and down in to the exhaust which stunk. A new valve cover, not to mention the labor intensive installation and gaskets would have run me hundreds. I figured I had nothing to lose trying this stuff. Well, its called "The Right Stuff" and that's exactly what it is. My valve covers are made of some type of heat resistant plastic. This isn't specifically advertised to work on plastic but it can handle well above the temp my valve cover gets to and after cleaning around the area really well, the adhesion is realy strong. I added a little extra around the gash for extra surface area contact in the hopes it would be more secure. I let it cure overnight and went for a drive today. Zero leaks and the patch isn't going anywhere. Even if I had to reapply every so often, it's working and easy to do. Really happy with this experiment. I totally recommend this stuff!

Fixed faucet leak in no time. Teflon and pipe dope couldn't get it done. Normal permatex couldn't get it done even after waiting 24h before turning on the water.Applied this and after a few minutes I turned the water on and no leak! Going on 1 month now without a leak.
