Works and looks great. I do wish there was an option to have bigger holes. I ended up drilling out all the holes to fit the “big bolt head” washers and screws. I hope they will not show rust from the bare metal underneath.

I purchased 6x6 posts at Home Depot even after heavy modification the hole is too small these will piss you off trust me

I planned on building a large pergola, so I ordered these brackets. When they arrived, I was surprised at the weight of the box they came in (I wasn't sure which Amazon order was arriving). When I opened the box, I was so impressed at the construction and weight. I initially was unsure if I wanted use brackets or use wood to wood connections. These brackets add stiffness in the joints, so they will be well used.
