Used this tool when I replaced the water pump on my 2008’Ford Escape (V6). The drive pulley has to be removed from the engine to be able to access the water pump bolts. This tool removed the pulley with ease.

I like how small the puller is to get into tight places. I used it twice since purchasing the product. The very second time I used it the tabs there are four of them two on either side of the bolts bent. I like this product though it was my favorite puller till I bent it

I got my pulley puller today and it did exactly what it was supposed to. I like that the screw on the tool is slightly narrower on the end where it makes contact. The tool itself is nice, good finish. I used it to pull the blade adapter off of an old Toro Recycler that was rust welded on over 20 years.

Even after centering the device and tightening the screws it kept on wanting to pull on angle. I couldn't remove the gear.. next time I'll go to Lordco and pick up a sure bet.

Save your money! Puller isn’t strong enough, metal bent on first use trying to remove a pitman arm.

Used this to remove a crankshaft pulley on VW air cooled 1600 DP engine that would not easily budge. Took the pulley off with ease. Used the shorter end of the puller. EMPI makes a puller tool for this for double the cost. I’m sure this tool will last, made of heavy steel. Only complaint was that it arrived with loose nuts. Required some tightening, but loosened during use. Maybe try some blue loctite on the threads of the bolts where the tool articulates.
