Well worth the cost! You can do a car in 3 to 4 hours without having your arm fall of. Just let the polisher rub the wax in and when it's dry, wipe it off with a microfiber cloth.

Very well made. Works well, but do not press on it. Paired with a 10 pack of terry bonnets. Do use the fluffy ones.

#1 pour utilisation personnelle. La grippe est facile et elle travaille bien. Seul hic, le câble d'alimentation mesure environ 1pi.

The moment I received it, I ran it for testing its operation. It only took about 15 to 20 seconds of operation until it broke down. see picture. I cannot use it anymore.

I have a Ford Ranger which is over 20 years old and the paint has oxidized to a mottled haze. I decided to do something about it and read a number of articles on paint restoration, the best products, etc and invested nearly $90 in products to cleanse the old paint with a clay bar, and then deep scrub it with a polishing compound, then polish, then wax, etc. in hopes of restoring the original luster. The Wilmar Random Orbital Buffer was recommended by a number of Amazon customers and the price was not exorbitant, so I added it to my shopping list. It arrived on time, was small, light weight, held the buffer pad and turned on, but had some immediate problems. When running it, it would sound like little pieces were breaking off inside and little pieces of plastic would spin off from time to time. Sometimes it would run fast, sometimes it would run slow, after a couple hours it didn't run at all. I saw in the reviews that someone had purchased theirs at Harbor Freight Tools. I have never purchased anything of quality at Harbor Freight Tools, especially power tools, so thought this a red flag, but when I checked locally Harbor Freight did not carry it, so purchased from Amazon. I may have received a lemon, but my Wilmar Random Orbital Buffer never worked correctly, went from fast to slow to fast and quit working in just a couple hours of use, so buyer beware. Would recommend purchasing better quality than this.

I admit I'm a lazy cleaner so I purchased this little gem to polish and extra large fiberglass bathtub and shower. I am blinder by the shine. A couple notes .... don't apply pressure. Let it oscillate. The cord yes is too short and even though you would probably need an extension cord on other units the extra shortness of this one lets the extension cord connection bang against the area. Could have more power. Would not recommend this unit for a large project like a car because of it's lack of power. But it dies what I purchased it for.

I'm using this little guy to wax my camping trailer. The smaller size (compared to the big, heavy buffers) allows me to work around all the windows, doors, compartments, etc. on the camper. I was concerned about getting additional bonnets as the two supplied wear out. Then I found I could easily make my own by draping an old towel over the pad, snapping a heavy rubber band over it to hold it in place and then cutting away the excess material, leaving about 1 1/2" of skirt. This restricts the spinning action, but I believe the oscillation is doing most of the work anyway.

One large vehicle down (polish and wax), one more to go. And I'm a happy camper with this purchase. This buffer made life easy, and the outcome great (of course, the polish and wax can take credit for that, too). The Wilmar is not at all heavy, but it feels solidly built. Haven't sensed any bogging-down of the motor (plenty of power), but of course applying or removing wax or polish with a power tool shouldn't involve lots of pressure. The top is designed well to fit the palm of the hand, with the on-off switch conveniently located, although I find it easier and more comfortable to hold it by the main body, below the top.The six inch diameter of the very cushy but dense and sturdy foam pad over which other applicator or removal pads (microfiber, wool, etc) fit seems to be an ideal size. The foam appears to be of a type that won't dry out and break down over time. The polisher base is not so small that it takes forever to apply or remove product to the vehicle's bodywork, but not so large that it won't give easy access to narrow or curved/angular panels. The power cord is only about a foot long, maybe less. Not an issue since the buffer will be used with an extension cord anyway. One negative that some folks might find important (I don't): the motor is one speed only, no way of slowing the buffer down to, for example, remove and brighten up wax.I have no other polisher/waxer tools with which to compare this, other than a huge 12-inch buffing tool that's overkill, expensive, and heavy. Nonetheless, my impression is that this is an incredibly good unit sold at an incredibly good price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone.
