I was skeptical but thought that it was worth a try. I love it. Makes using my refillable k-cups a breeze. Keeps my counter top cleaner and my wife happy because I’m not spilling coffee all over the place. Very easy to use.

I'm really glad I bought this handy gadget. It really helps to fill my refillable pod neatly, rather than spooning it in. It is the perfect size and the bottom of it can be used to tamp down the coffee grounds. Very good idea!

We use the refillable Keurig cups and have grounds spill off the edges. This nearly eliminated that (sometimes I overfill the measuring cup side - compressing the grounds against the side of a bag). I was initially cautious about this item since it appeared to me to be something that would crack easily. I was wrong! We have been using this for a few months now and it has lasted. We have washed it often (perhaps not needed as much as we did since the coffee does not stick inside the measuring cup).Now that I have used it for a few months, I have gotten the hang of getting the right amount, and have found that using the bottom side of the scoop works perfectly to even out the deposited grounds so when I close the Keurig cup, it closes nicely. This is not to negate how helpful the funnel part is - it really helps me in my half-awakened stupor to fill the Keurig cups easily (We have the combo unit that makes a carafe and does the cups - I drink half of the carafe, leaving the other half for my wife for when she awakes - after I leave for work - and I make a travel mug from the Keurig refillable cups for my day at work). The screen lets all the flavor come out, making a nice strong cup just the way I like it - 10 oz.

If this devise is filled to the top level with the top edge, I can do it in one scoop, for me, that is the perfect amount of grounds for my Keurig drip coffee maker. More grounds than that is a bit wasted.This device works amazingly well and easily. I've been using it for a bit more than a year now. It's in excellent condition and I suspect I'll be using it for many more years.It's well make and durable. Cleans easily. It's a bit bulky when trying to get the grounds out of a small can, 10 OZ., of coffee, but still does the job better than using a large tabelspoon. I would recommend this product for anyones regular and repeated use.

I was excited to try this out, thinking it would be a huge improvement over pouring coffee out of a can, or using a spoon. Well, it was better alright, but not amazing. If you're half asleep, trying to make coffee, you'll probably spill some.You have to pay attention to what you're doing. You have to keep the halves separate while you use the scoop to dig into the coffee, careful not to get too much, or you'll make a mess. You might even overfill the K-cup substitute, or whatever receptacle you are using to hold the coffee for brewing. Once the scoop is loaded with coffee, you carefully flip the top over, holding the halves together, and point the hole in the top half at the coffee receptacle to dump it in. After that, you simply bang the whole thing against the trash can, to empty out the excess. Which you will have if you didn't get just the right amount into the scoop in the first place. Even if you did get just the right amount, some of the coffee seems determined to stay behind, unless you really bang it against the side of the trash can, letting the halves fall apart while you do so.So it works OK. Far better than using a spoon, or trying to dump the coffee out of a can. But only slightly better than simply tapping a paper coffee bag to place coffee grounds directly into the brewing receptacle. Your mileage may vary.

I find it very useful, much easier than using a spoon to gill those little cups, much less messy. However, it does want to flip open easy when you turn it over to pour. You really have to keep a good grip on it and keep it shut. That can make the pouring a little awkward. Simply system for packing, just flip it back over and pack, but it does an excellent job of it, though I admit to some skepticism when I first looked at it. Other than that, I have no complaints. I am buying a second one, as my little one loves to play with this and managed to break my first one. I use it daily, and in a very short time have gotten so accustomed to it that I don't want to do without it. I would like to see an upgrade on it that made it a little easier to keep it closed when you flip it over.

This is a nifty and very inexpensive product that makes filling those reusable K-cups easy. Before, it would take awhile to fill the Kcup, especially with those paper filters, and I would inevitably spill coffee grounds. With this handy little gadget, you just scoop up the desired amount (it takes up to 2 tablespoons), flip on the cover (the one with the hole), and pour the contents into the Kcup. It is contoured, so that makes it easy to get every ground into the Kcup. I found that, using those Simple brand paper filters inserted, it is hard to get a full 2 tblsp without overflowing. But I have only used it twice, so it probably will take a little tweaking of the way I do it. Another nice thing: the scoop is also contoured so that you can tamp down the grounds once they are in the Kcup. The gadget is dry, so you don't need to wash it after the first time. At the time of this review, it is available only as an "add-on" purchase, which means you have to have a total of at least $25 in purchases before they will mail it out. The gadget is only $7, which is why. One thing: the packaging! It is blister-packed and very, very difficult to open. You would think that this was a $100 item, not an inexpensive plastic gadget.
